I like that this kit includes everything needed.Everything feels well made and you can feel the components are a good quality.The plastic case safely holds everything so nothing knocks around.I feel there are a better option to Helicoils.I would buy this kit again.5 STARS

My husband owns a car lot / mechanic shop and so he is always wanting to try out new tool kits to make his life and his job a little bit easier LOL so as soon as I saw this one and it just so happened he had a car this would work for with the same issue I had to scoop it up for him. This came very well packed and secured with all the correct pieces and parts. Nothing was missing or damaged from delivery. I love that everything comes in this nice case so you can keep it all together. Everything's very high quality and super nice! Definitely very durable and heavy duty. It works perfectly as it should him and his buddies got together and used this kit last week to get that car fixed and repaired. Everything was perfectly as it should be and super easy to use he said. These are very user friendly and he did not run into a single issue while using these to get that taken care of. He was very impressed by how user friendly this whole process has been and thinks the quality is really outstanding for the price point. Definitely worth every penny and a solid 10 out of 10

This thread repair kit came in super handy for a project I had on an old engine block, and honestly, it’s pretty solid for the price. The HSS drill bit and tap feel high quality, not some cheap soft metal that dulls out halfway through, and everything in the kit fits together like it should. The inserts themselves are stainless steel and thread in cleanly without any weird binding or cross-threading.The installation driver works smoothly, and having the counterbore included made the whole process easier, especially when prepping for the insert to sit flush. The M14x1.5 sizing was spot on, and all 10 inserts were usable, no defects or damaged threads straight out of the box.Overall, it’s a solid kit that saved me from having to junk a part I thought was done for.
