Great replacement bolts for my son’s bed. Sturdy and strong. Much cheaper than buying from the bed manufacturer.

Bought these to put my headboard and footboard back on the bed. Worth the price. Sizes are as should be. Good quality, easy to use.

I lost a few bolts for a bunk bed and these fit perfect. Coming with the wrench we usually loose or throw out made it even better

Not much to say here: these M8 (metric 8mm) Black Flat-Head Furniture Bolts and Barrel Nuts are exactly as shown and described in the Amazon listing (incl. measurements in listing's second image, and materials/ finish description in text). They are nice for thinner wood panels/pieces (barrels are 12mm and bolt-heads are 15mm), the bolt diameter and threads are proper M8, and the black paint job is ok (some paint may come off, if torqued down). We used them in some wooden cube organizers that we wanted to stack on top each-other, and we have long lost the original hardware that came with them; these furniture bolts worked fine in the predrilled holes.

I picked up a gently used Pottery Barn Sleep & Study loft bed when my little giant outgrew his Jeep bed. It was a steal at $550 for a $2700 bed. It was missing just one thing... bolts and barrel nuts. The bed officially comes with standard (not metric) hardware but I couldn't seem to find the right size in my stores. I gave this set a try and it worked just fine. The bolts and barrel nuts just fit into an oversized opening anyway. They only have to mate to each other, not perfectly to the furniture.I'm happy to say that the bed is sturdy and safe. Nobody can tell the difference, not even me.

They come inside a bubble wrap bag inside of a ziplock bag. The finish is a nice, flat black and the threads are not covered in oil like a lot of other machined screws can be.Be sure to check your measurements before ordering them. For the price, I don't see how you can go wrong.

These cross dowels and matching connector bolts come 10 sets to a package, along with a matching hex key (allen wrench) for tightening. They ship in a little plastic case, which is also of decent quality. I made a quick joint to see how they fit, and they do what they are supposed to do :)Note that these use metric sizing - the cross dowels are just under 10mm diameter and 12mm long, the threading is M6x1.0. If you have metric drills, great. I used a 25/64 bit for the cross dowel hole, and a 1/4 for the bolt holes. That worked fine. The only real problem with these fasteners is the length of the cross dowels. One of the pictures shows one of these dowels (black, on left) with a typical dowel (silver, on right). These are much shorter, 12mm vs about 20mm. This means the area that pulls the joint tight is small (too small, in to my eyes), so the joint is not very strong. One the other hand, these can be used with thinner stock due the shorter length. For lighter work, these will be useful. For heavy work or stressed joints, you may want to look elsewhere. Thanks for reading!
