I work from home and sometimes enjoy sitting outside on a nice day. The only downside is that sometimes the sun makes it really hard to see. I was happy to get the screen to reduce glare.The good news is that it fit my late 2019, 16-inch MacBook Pro, even for the camera slot. The bad news is that it did not do anything for the glare. The privacy protection was perfect, but that’s not really an issue since I work from home.Even though it did not work for my needs, I was impressed that it came with a sturdy folder to store it in (you would not want to close your laptop with this inside).If you are looking for a privacy screen, this is a great option. As for glare, I will be looking for an umbrella.

Ordered this to use on my MacBook Pro when traveling...since I often work on airplanes, coffee shops, hotel bars etc and while I don't always work on "top secret" stuff, I'd prefer that anything private that I'm writing (like patent stuff for clients or a book I'm working on) to stay as private as possible.This did the trick - super easy to install, it works well as a privacy filter and also as a filter to reduce glare and blue light exposure...without losing actual brightness or clarity. Excellent! The issue of reduced screen performance was the main reason I hadn't gotten one of these before...because even with one that isn't smoked and just reduces glare, I immediately noticed a reduction in image quality. So happy that is not the case here!It works with magnets so it can be taken on and off whenever you want to (hint, keep the packaging which comes with a GREAT plastic sleeve for this). Also comes with a cleaning cloth to prepare the surface. It fits my MBP 16" like a charm...you don't even notice it's there. Unless you try to sneak a peak at my screen, that is! :)Overall, I'm very happy with this filter - it does everything it says it does and then some. It's a great price, too. I highly recommend it!!

So I took a chance on this. I didn't get this for my Macbook. I don't own one. I did however get one for my ASUS Rog Laptop with the same size screen. It has a magnetic lip at the top for closing the screen and such and I figured this would work perfectly. It does. It clips right to the top and holds firm with the magnet. Covers the entire screen. Gives me perfect privacy while I'm at work to keep prying eyes off my information. The packaging was fantastic. It got to me not bent or messed up due to how they pack the item. It comes with a screen cleaner, and a big microfiber cloth as well. Also side note, it does have some adhesive incase you want to permanently attach it to your screen (for the bottom and or sides). I didn't need to do that. I like having it removable if I want to. Overall it's great! Not for just Macbooks!

I haven't been using this for too long, but so far it seems great! Easy to pop on and use, no significant glare that I have noticed. I've only used it with my screen on high brightness but it works nicely at that setting. I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because the screen attaches magnetically at the top but doesn't always stay sealed around the edges of the screen, sometimes dangling at the bottom. Additionally, if you line this up exactly with the camera, it blocks the top utility bar with the date/time etc.

First off, if you need a privacy screen, and this is your model, this is exactly what you need! Unless you are directly sitting in front of the laptop, it is very challenging to see what you are viewing.The magnetic adherence is great - stays in place when opening and closing while not damaging the laptop.However, if you're looking to fight glare - this does a sub-par job. I am not sure if there are others that work better, but this was the main reason I wanted to use it - to fight off the overhead office lighting. It doesn't make it worse, but it doesn't make it much better. If this is your main objective as well, I would advise looking into a desk-canopy or some other method.Overall, great privacy screen - easy to attach and remove. Not terribly effective at resisting glare.
