This cover for basement window wells is easy to place and can be secured by driving U shaped wires through holes in the edge and into the ground. Plastic of the cover could be thicker but support from the house wall and the ground keeps the cover in place and dome shape prevents snow from building up.

If you’re looking for a firm plastic dome, this is not it! Attachments are rudimentary!

Product quality appeared fine, however shape of basement window well cover curved too much for our windows.I was VERY upset at having to pay $93.00 for return shipping. Thought company should have covered return shipping ☹️

The well cover in the photo looks like the sturdy Plexiglas ones I have. The Maccourt cover that arrived was made of the same flimsy plastic that can be found in the big box hardware stores for far less money. I would have returned it, but the postage and handling was over $15.This part is on me, but be careful. I measured the window well nearest my back door instead of the one that needed the cover. The Maccourt dimensions matched the one I already have, but did not fit the basement window for which it was needed. It did, however, fit another window well where it will stay until it breaks--probably soon.

A little pricey - can't find this design available in the stores anymore around here- my only complaint is the label is glued on a prominent position and you can't remove the residue.
