It was a good buy. It works just fine. It comes folded so there is a slight crease. I just folded it the other way and let it sit overnight and the crease was gone. I wish they sent them in tubes of storing and transporting.

Just received this. Some have complained about a chemical odor. Mine did not have that. I only gave it 4 stars, because it arrived folded, which caused 2 bad creases. After stretching it out, and letting it lay flat a couple days, the creases are almost gone. May still need to take an iron to it, but it is flat enough to use now. The marks from the creases will hopefully disappear eventually, but they only affect appearance, not usability. Store and carry it rolled, so you avoid issues caused by folding.

This is an adequate, mid-price close-up mat. There are cheaper, poorer quality ones out there; there are better ones too. Pros: decent size, large enough to spread a deck across to expose all 52 indices; nice thickness and springiness; lays flat even after being rolled up for weeks; great for coin and card work. My main complaint is the surface of the mat is not smooth enough. I have pretty soft skin, but the tiniest rough spot on my fingertips or minutest nick in my nails will catch on the linty surface. Very annoying.

When I first opened it I was worried it might be cheap as it felt a little thin, but it was only that I have never used one of these card mats before. The back clings a bit to the table to stay in place, and the top is smooth and has a soft, classy feel. Cards move better, slide easily across the surface the way they are supposed to. Makes cups and balls a bit easier as it kills the clanking sound of my aluminum cups on the table top, and allows the cups to slide easily about. And it just looks professional to have this surface to work on. I ordered the green and it is stunning. Look carefully at the measurements, some are larger, others smaller, perhaps measure paper and try it out to get the size that works vest for you.

This is a great mat for closeup magic. Came rolled up and in perfect condition. Easy to take on the go when rolled. Perfect item when you need a little space to fan out cards or create a soft pad for bulkier items.
