Fun to do...simply use the tools provided to scratch the top layer of black to reveal a colorful picture. These are great because they're small- this craft can be very detailed and the larger ones take allot of time . Be sure to cover anywhere your hand might rest with a cardboard or thick piece of paper so the oil from your arm/hand won't leave marks in your picture . It's fun and pretty easy! Comes with scratch off tools and even brushes to dust the little black "crumbs" from repmivingvrhe too black layer

I'm a very experienced crafter and this was still nearly impossible to do well. The pictures are pretty but getting the black off without breaking through the color layer was difficult.

A relatively easy crafty activity. Not much in the way of instructions as to which tool to use for what purpose, but trial and error works to find what works for you. The results are nice looking and frame-worthy.I’m a senior and found it necessary to use my “high powered” reading glasses for this so keep that in mind. Overall, a good purchase and I would recommend it for crafty friends and older kids (10+).

I have bought kits like these before but for kids and really enjoyed them this was way more advanced.I comes all wrapped up with every tool you could need. In addition to the tools it comes with "black out" so if you make a mistake its black white out you can put over the mistake.When I tried to do this craft I then realized that this is more for people who can draw, which I can not. However my partner can so it worked out. She loved it. I did pick this kit due to the fact it had tools and that was very worth it.
