I sharpen things. Axes primarily. I've been to ER before for stiches. So... I wear gloves now. Leather gloves I've worn are too bulky. These are just the ticket. Lightweight, almost like not wearing gloves. Allow me full control of my files and stones. Almost like not wearing gloves. And best part is, I am not bleeding anywhere. They work! -- They've saved me several times now from cuts, and they do not show it. Impressive!

We use these because we work with a lot of really dirty stuff. So we need them to be washable. but after a few washes, the rubber part is wearing off. That's disappointing because we expected these to be heavy duty, but they appear to NOT be durable.

My finger, which will bear a hand saw scar forever, feels much happier when I am using these gloves.I like the "cut proof" aspect of these gloves AND the rubber which helps me grip my project and hold the saw much better (I DO use a platform on which to steady and secure the plank). The gloves fit me well, are not tight but also are not loose.I realize that these gloves are not a substitute for careful vigilance and safety, but they definitely help me get a beter grip on my projects. Literally.Great price, and a second pair of these gloves are very affordable to me

These are really good quality gloves & they fit as expected. They are good for protecting hands while working with sharp objects but they can still be cut. They allow really good mobility & you can grasp smallish items with a good grip. We’ve used Magid brand gloves in the past & they have all held up well.

Several of my DIY projects involve cutting with tools such as utility knives, hand knives, or saws. After a near miss with box cutters, my wife nicely enforced I wear cut resistant gloves to reduce chances of injury. I ordered this pair because it is high visibility and should be easy to find when I need it. After wearing them however, I appreciate several aspects I was not clear about. These gloves truly are cool to the touch, which is not a bad attribute for work gloves! Additionally, they are light weight and maintain good dexterity. While they are cut resistant, they are not cut-proof. They reduce your chances of serious injury, but you can still get cut with them on. I took a steak knife and made a few gentle, but progressively more moderate cut/slices across the gloves. I could definitely feel the tip of the knife and I am sure I would have been cut if I had applied enough pressure. I had the same experience with the top and bottom. they did resist the cut, and instead of puncturing the skin, I just noticed what looks like a cat's 'pick' mark, across where the blade moved. Warning: do not try this at home, I was being really careful. so, just understand what they are (and are not). A cool, high viz, comfortable glove that reduces (does not eliminate) risk of being cut. Given how they feel, I will use them for mowing and gardening as well.I wear a glove size L and the size 9/L fits as expected.
