At first they feel great . When climbing a vertical ladder , I noticed my palm slipping inside the glove. Otherwise good dexterity and comfort. Within two weeks of daily use the rubberized material on the fingers wore off. I do commercial air conditioning so my gloves go through rigorous use.

I needed new gloves as my older ones were starting to wear through, but I’ve never gone for anything this light before so I was a bit sceptical. I use them for garden work and some lighter DIY stuff, but I’m not a sheet metal worker or anything like that so I can’t comment on their suitability for those jobs. They are nice and flexible and stretch too, so fit nicely and allow for great dexterity. I ordered XL (I’d usually go L or XL) and they fit just right, so if you’re wondering which size to get I’d go for the higher one. For things I do (moving things around such as stepladder, tools, branches, gutter debris) these gloves are great. I’ve also worn them for cleaning out the chicken coop. For the sake of this review I touched a thorny bush while wearing the gloves to see if they could withstand the brambles, but they do not. So if you want to work with particularly sharp things, you probably need something thicker. I like that they are reinforced in the area where your thumb meets the index finger, as this is usually a weak point on gloves, so that fills me with confidence. If you are working with damp items, these gloves are pretty good at not getting you too wet. They are not waterproof, but do a decent job of not getting you too soaked. So moving damp undergrowth should be fine, but don’t go dipping your hand in a bucket of water and expect your hand to stay dry. It’s not something I’d do, but for the sake of this review I did try the gloves while using a touchscreen. Not great, it only picked up one digit of my passcode to unlock my phone, and it took a few attempts to swipe the phone. This doesn’t bother me at all, I’d just take my glove off if I need to use the phone, but thought I’d mention it here anyway. In short, they’re comfortable and do the jobs I want them to do, so I’m very happy with them.

I have small hands, and finding work gloves of any kind that fit me well is a challenge. However, these gloves seem like they were made using a mold of my hands, and give me excellent dexterity and comfort! I get tired of tough work gloves bunching up on me, making le lose my grip, or having to constantly readjust to keep a firm hold, but these gloves stay in place and let me work without pausing for adjustment. These gloves are just snug enough on my fingers, palms and wrists, and they're almost like a comfortable second skin on me.The material of these gloves is easy on my skin, and the construction seems sound. These gloves let the skin of my hands breathe and my hands don't get too sweaty using them. They launder easily, and line dry fine. These are just what I needed to keep myself from thrashing up my hands when cutting wood and trimming branches. These gloves are easy to use with power tools or hand tools, and keep me safe from abrasions and cuts.MAGID D-ROC VersaTek All-In-One Coated Glove,1 Pair, Cut Level A5 Resistant Work Gloves, DX+ Technology, DXPG53-Size 7/S

This pair of gloves were just loose in the outer mailer, with no manufacturer's packaging, not even anything to hold the two gloves together. Although they came rather bent-up, they easily straightened out on my hands, and fit perfectly. Their size chart is accurate, and it's great that these are offered in a much wider range of sizes than most other brands of work gloves (people with small hands deserve good gloves too). As with most nitrile-coated gloves, they can get a little sweaty, but the uncoated areas are breathable. There is a thicker coating in the "thumb saddle" area for extra reinforcement. They provide good dexterity; as a test, I was able to open a tightly-sealed ziplock while wearing them. They are touchscreen-compatible, though it requires a much firmer fingertip pressure than I normally use on my smartphone. They are described as machine-washable, but probably shouldn't be machine-dried.The manufacturer, Magid Glove & Safety Manufacturing Company LLC, is based in Illinois. They are a "a fourth-generation family-owned business" founded in 1946, and have grown to over a thousand employees. They supply PPE for some major companies, including CAT, Ford, John Deere, Bethlehem Steel, Union Pacific, Delphi, and more. They make their products in their own factories - one in Illinois, and two more in the Philippines. They provide more information about their trademarked VersaTek coating on their website: "VersaTek is an intelligent, adaptive coating technology designed for durability and amplified grip in multiple work environments. VersaTek helps your workers enhance their natural grip power, flexibility, and hand movement without sacrificing dexterity." "VersaTek is infused with special stabilizers to enhance grip performance. The coating is designed to read the work environment, adapt to it, and adjust its superior grip for objects that are wet or dry, slick or rough, heavy or light." "When put through rigorous abrasion tests, VersaTek achieved 50 percent more abrasion resistance than other common glove coatings like sandy nitrile and even foam nitrile ... In these abrasion tests, a sample of the coated glove palm is placed on a rotating disc to undergo constant friction from two rotating, weighted wheels. Even the toughest palm coatings tend to last between 3,000 and 19,000 rotations, putting them at ANSI Abrasion levels 4 or 5. VersaTek’s sample lasted over 30,000 revolutions, consistently scoring well above the minimum for ANSI Abrasion Level 6!"The uncoated areas use "18-gauge DX+ Technology® engineered yarn" with "non-irritating strength enhancing micro-particles" to make them cut/abrasion-resistant. The full ANSI specs for this particular glove model are "ANSI Level A5 Cut Resistance, ANSI Level 6 Abrasion Resistance, and ANSI Level 3 Puncture Resistance". I'm not about to intentionally test those limits, but I feel confident that Magid is an experienced company that I can trust to protect my hands.
