Be sure you get the correct replacement anode. Size matters. Also, it’s critically important you check at least every 6 months. (DONT FORGET TO TURN OFF YOUR HEATER PRIOR as a waterless tank will burn out the heating element. The only fix is a new $500+ heater.)
