The magnet is really strong compared to other Montessori boards we own. That will ease frustration when the toddler is playing. I’m a little disappointed with the amount of scratches and scuffs on the board. Before we got to play it there was cosmeticDamage. One side had a film to peel off and underneath the film there are scratches on the plastic coverThe other side where the paint buckets are is incredibly foggy. It’s not a clear plastic like the other side. When my kids use the magnetic pen on that side it’s putting lines all over. Which unfortunately makes the screen look dirty and Damaged in my opinion

Very cute design and is easy to carry. I got this for a preschool-age child, and it was very much enjoyed! Great for car rides. The best part about it the ability to hold on to all of the little pieces with it.

This is a great self-contained toy for a road trip! I did order this for my classroom, but I have grandkids that would love it, too. The connected magnetic pen is a plus. No hunting for it when the kids don't snap it back into place. The magnetic beads seem to move well under the plastic cover. My kids are really enjoying it.

This is a great toy to use as a fidget toy or for education. We ordered for a road trip and it was a huge hit with my kids ages 2, 4, and 6 - they all loved it! There are many different ways to play and I like that it has two sides as well. It can be a little on the loud side so probably is best for home or car (rather than plane) but we absolutely love it and have gifted them to others as well.

I really like this, but even I have problems sometimes moving the pieces around. This will definitely help with fine motor skills. Pros - double sided activities, good for counting, matching colors, following patterns. Cons - the magnetic wand detached within a couple of days. The magnet is a little too strong, it's sometimes hard to pick up just one bead at a time. It's a little hard to tell the difference in the red, orange & pink beads (I really had to study them to see the different colors, or maybe I'm a little color blind).

This is a good deal since you get a 2 sided educational game. I say educational because if the child wants to copy one of the included cards it requires patience to work the right color chip into it's proper slot, counting, and trying again if it's wrong. On the flip side is a counting and color match game. These are rounded beads that need the person to put the proper color into it's cup, and each cup has a different numbered amount required, so counting and color. Both sides use the same magnet wand which is attached with a good size length string so it can't get lost, a good point. Both sides are enclosed in a plastic window to keep the disks and beads in place. The cards for one side fit in a slot at the top. There is no way to keep the cards from getting lost, so maybe keeping them in a plastic zip bag that can be taped to the game when not in use? Also, you tip and shake this to get the pieces to the bottom to start. I think the younger children may have need of help from an older person to get the colored round beads out of all the cups and to the bottom, it took me several tries. I would have given 4 1/2 stars just because of this but for older kids and even adults who may need help due to stroke or dementia may benefit from this also.

The item came in a box that was re-taped and in a bag that was obviously opened before. Even the top layer was peeled off partially. My 3 year old liked and was eager to try it anyways. The magnets are very strong so a couple of things would move at the same time, making it harder to isolate one color at a time for either side. On the number side, when trying to put all of the balls on the bottom, the balls would pile up and get stuck so it was hard and very loud. On the first picture we did, we followed the directions but it was off by one space. Otherwise, it’s a fun toy for little ones.
