If you buy for the wireless charging part, that lasts maybe a week before it breaks. The radiator part still works good. For me, that’s all I cared about. But for others, you might want the charging option too.

This cooler is fantastic. I stuck it on the back of my Apple Wireless Charger so it cools the charger attached to my phone and thus keeps my phone cold as it's wirelessly fast charging. Now my phone charges at full speed all the way through with it's wireless charger instead of getting throttled back. It's also going to extend the battery life in my phone by keeping it cold while it charges. What I did was I took my Apple Wireless Charger, stuck this USB Piezo Electric Cooler that gets really cold, on the back of the wireless charger, and then powered the cooler with a 27w Raspberry Pi USB C power cord so it can get all the power it needs to get as cold as possible. I took the plug for this and the wireless charger plug and put them both on a smart plug that is Apple Homekit compatible and I used an automation that automatically shuts off the smart plugs for the Wireless charger and the Cooler when the battery reaches the charge level I want. That way it's automatic. I simply switch on the plugs for both devices when I want to charge, stick it to the back of my phone. I set the cooler to Level-2 using the button on the cooler, and then walk away. My phone charges and then it triggers the smart plugs to shut-off automatically when the phone is charged. It's also great for when I'm gaming on my phone too, I can keep the battery charged and cool while playing games. Heat kills the batteries in your phone, so this cooler is a must, even if you don't use the exact setup I did, cooling your battery during game play, extended face-time / video calling that heats up the phone, and during charging it's a good idea to get one of these coolers. Note that a standard USB 5v 500ma 1a or 2a (amperage) chargers are not enough power to get the most out of your cooler. You want a PD Certified USB charger rated for 25 watts or more. The least expensive quality power supply I can find for the cooler is the Raspberry Pi USB C power supply cables at around $15-$17 ... You will be happy you used this because you can achieve -8 Celsius temperatures with no heat load, so when your phone is heat loading it, it will keep your phone around 10-15 celcius which is fantastic for game play and phone charging. I really can't say enough good about this cooler for your phone. Get one!!!

First off, I'm not a big gamer. I used to be, and I've had game consoles, computers, and phones that have all shut down from being driven too hard. These days my gaming is more casual and I don't drive devices into unconsciousness with it. Where I find problems now is when I'm driving in the heat of summer. My phone is used with Android Auto to drive my audio system. My stereo uses my phone to generate Maps/Waze, control my music, handle notifications, etc. While this is going on I still use my phone for Maps (Waze on the stereo, Maps on my phone) and for other things. It sucks up your phone's resources to be used like that, and after some time, if the ambient air temp is warmer, my phone will start to cook. At a certain point it'll start deactivating features with pop ups saying my phone is too hot to be used normally. This becomes a problem when I'm relying on my phone, like navigating to an unfamiliar area or if I'm doing shopping runs for my side hustle.I've tried positioning my phone close to my vehicle's AC vents, which helps but doesn't fix as it's usually still in direct sunlight. When I saw this little gadget I had to try it.This cooler/radiator comes in a nice box, very well padded and arrived intact. It comes with the cooler/radiator itself, a USB C -> C charging cable, and a magnet ring to install on your phone or case.Use isn't too complex. The magnet itself is on a ring that spins on the side of the radiator. You rotate the ring until it's flush with the radiator and press it against your phone's (or phone case's) magnet ring. If you don't have a magnet ring it comes with one you can apply! You plug one end of the charging cable into the cooler, the other into a power bank or other power source, and it turns on. There's a button on the side which lets you choose between two levels of cooling. This thing WORKS. Oh my lord, it actually gets cold! And I don't mean it cools down, I mean it gets cold where it presses against your phone. After a few minutes I could feel cold traveling through the length of my phone. I wasn't driving the phone with intense games or anything, just using it like normal, and it worked so well. I can easily see this working for my needs, keeping my phone cool on insanely hot days. Heck, as electronics just work better when they're cool I can see myself using this a good bit, like when I'm casting to a hotel TV or other things that take some system resources.I'm tickled with this device. For $30 this thing is a STEAL. I mean, really, the other ones I've seen that do this cost way more, may require AC power instead of DC, and some even require water to be added regularly. This, for the price, and all you have to do is stick it to your phone and plug it in? No brainer.I highly recommend!

Most of the uses for Peltier coolers seem forced and aren't actually that useful. This one is. I use this to keep my phone cool when I use it for online video meetings. The phone can get pretty warm when it's not only running the camera, but the video sharing software, and this keeps it cooler than my previous solution, which was a fan pointed at the phone, and it's much, much quieter. I also use it in the car when I'm driving long distance and using the phone for music and GPS mapping at the same time. The magnet on it is super solid, it's never fallen off during use. The only thing that would make this better would be pass-through charging so I didn't have to run two USB cables, one for the phone and the other for the cooler.
