Pros are it's got a strong rotating magnet that actually held onto my phone very well. Not made to be indestructible but it seems like the materials its made of are decent. My only cons are the center of gravity relative to the magent is a bit high, so the elastic material the included arm band may flex. Other words it can wobble sometimes but its stable enough to use without thinking my phone will just fall off. If it did fall it would be from the arm band not the magent. Speaking of the arm band, there were no instructions so not sure if it am using the arm band correctly. I have a more narrow wrist and it does work well enough out of the box where im not returning it. Personally the elastic arm band is mid, but the holder is great so im going to try to use another material, add velcro points to my current arm band or use leather or something. The latter would have pretty good results. Someone who is just getting this for your biceps or a bigger wrist probably would like this. If your going to be overly active, figure out the arm band situation. Your results may vary. Over all not bad. 4 stars 🌟

This does wonders for when I’m grocery shopping. I have the strap on my left forearm, scrolling through my list with my right and pushing the cart at the same time. Awesome for doing Instacart gig! For phone safety, I’ve attached a wrist strap on the iPhone should I accidentally knock it off.

I intended to wear this on my arm (bicep area) to hold my iPhone on daily walks. Problem is the elastic band it too short to fit around my 14" upper arm. It's designed more for an 8" circumference location. It fits on my wife's upper arm. Fortunately, I am able to use this Running Phone Holder because I have another longer strap from another product. The maker/seller should be providing 2 sizes of elastic straps with this unit. One for wrist wear and one for upper arm wear. The magnet is strong enough to hold a cased iPhone on walks, but it did not hold and fell off when I had to run to avoid oncoming traffic. The product came without any instructions.12/22/24 - I'm upgrading from 2 to 3 stars because adding the magnetic ring to the inside of my iPhone case has provided the needed magnetism to keep the phone attached while jogging. This Magnetic Running Phone Holder would get 5 stars from me if it added 2 sizes of elastic straps, 1 small for wrist wear and 1 large for upper arm wear.

It's pretty well built and the velco for the arm band/wrist band is REALLY strong. This will definitely NOT fall off your wrist or arm, but it does move around a lot. The ability to rotate your phone since it uses magsafe to keep your phone on is also nice and secure so you can easily look at your phone when moving is a nice touch... It does keep your phone away from your body which is why it moves so much, so if you are looking to be very active like running, I wouldn't use it. If you are at the gym and lifting, then I would probably recommend this as it will keep you from sticking your phone somewhere unsanitary.
