why i didn’t buy one of these earlier i’ll never know. keeps all insects out. dogs learned how to go in and out of it in just a few minutes. heavy duty with strong magnets for a tight seal

We purchased this product in March 2023, for our lakehouse, and it has worked out largely fine, with the only drawback being that it's sagging in the middle after a year plus.

Have 4 foot wide flagstone sidewalks around my house. Built a nice patio enclosure, but made it a 4-wall separate room from the house. That made a covered hallway between the house and the new room. Figured I would build sliding screen doors at each end of the hallway because we have a real mosquito problem.Tried these instead. Just fantastic! Tacked in place with a few roofing nails 1/3 deep. Did not use the enclosed velcro strip.Easy to step through them with my hands like the bow of a boat. Usually they close completely behind me. Sometimes there’s a small gap at the bottom. For that I flick the joining line at about waist height, and that gets the bottom to finish closing. Have a tie string around each half of the door so I can tie them open and walk back and forth with a load like a wheelbarrow.Keeps out mosquitoes and wasps. Have held up to normal wind so far. Just haven’t had any 60 mph thunderstorm to see what that might do. Do not think I could be happier though!

My slider is over sized and to fix the bent screen door was extremely expensive.I needed a quick fix that also was easy to put up and looked great too.We are thrilled with this purchase. Super easy to put up, solid and looks great!

We absolutely love this screen door. It keeps the bugs out and can be easily removed if we don’t want it there for a party or something. The velcro is very good, but the stickiness didn’t quite hold up when it was super hot, so we had to use the included tacks to secure it. It would probably stick better on a metal surface (we have a wood door jamb), but the tacks solve that problem. It closes very well if you follow the installation instructions. Great, affordable product!

Like many people who own a dog and have a fenced yard, both my dog and my wife & I would like for her to spend as much time as possible playing in the yard when the weather is nice, like right now in the late spring. But, if your dog is like ours, she constantly wants to check inside the house to see if all is well when taking breaks from play (what a hard life she leads 😊). So that takes us to the Hador brand nylon screen with a magnetic closure. The screen door that came with our last sliding glass door, was quickly converted to a “doggy door” when our (at that time new) 44 lb. German Shepherd/Shiba Inu mix charged through the nylon screen in the screen door that came with our last sliding glass door. Fortunately, she only ripped the lower third of the side and about two-thirds of the bottom, so the screen door was semi-functional except when the insect season descends upon us in the summer. So, last week we had a brand-new sliding glass door with screen installed. But, instead of even trying to use the screen door portion of the new door, we purchased this Hador brand screen. We first purchased another brand that was twice the price and when it arrived, we discovered that it was so oversized for the available space that the only way to mount it would have been to fold the top and sides over by several inches making the Velcro/sticky tape border usable ONLY by hammering tacks into the door frame to hold the screen in place. That’s fine if your door frame is wood, but ours is white woodgrain textured aluminum trim and I wasn’t about to ruin it by driving dozens of tacks into the top and left- and right-hand sides. So, then by searching the available magnetic screens on Amazon’s website, we found this Hador brand that measures 32”W x 78”H which was only a couple of inches oversize. So, the way that I mounted it in order to make it fit properly and also make the installation go more quickly, was to attach the Velcro/sticky tape to the outside of the sliding door assembly’s frame with the right-hand size attached to the left edge of the sliding screen door that came with the unit. (See attached pic) Since we weren’t going to use that screen door anyway, it made the perfect mounting place for the Velcro. You can see in the photo how clean and neat this installation looks and the entire process from the time I opened the bag until I was finished took only about 30 minutes. I highly recommend this product, so far. The quality is every bit as good as the first one we purchased at twice the price. So, if you’re looking to purchase one of these units, take a close look at the Hador because it’s a well made product that installs easily and is a bargain price compared with some of their competitors.

Lo coloqué en un ventanal que da a mi jardin y lo único que le mejoraría es el tener una función para no tener que retirar la malla al cerrar el ventanal. De ahí en fuera gran calidad, fácil de instalar y en efecto se cierra solo con los imanes.
