Being organized is the first rule for productivity.Don’t let a messy tool cart make you waste time looking for a certain socket, keep them neatly organized with these magnetic trays. I love that they don’t slide around in the cart drawers, the magnets hold well and the colors of the trays are vivid to the eye.

Okay, I am knocking a point off because the listing does not give enough information to tell if it will work for you. I'll try to fix that, at least for the 1/4 inch version.The 1/4 inch drive option is designed specifically for metric sizes 15mm thru 5mm, including a 5.5mm for both a long and standard socket. If that is what you have you will be happy. If you have a 17mm, it won't fit. If you have this, it works well. The reason that they have the drive size specified is that the last several slots are the same size because the drive end gets to a minimum size while the socket gets smaller. If you try to use it with a 3/8 set it will not fit.The magnets seem strong enough to keep the sockets in place and they are easy to remove when needed. One thing I do not like is that the sizes intended are not marked, and not specified, but I guess that is what a sharpie is for.I especially like the back magnet that lets me stick it to a toolbox or metal cabinet or table while I am using it or for visible, accessible storage. It does not seem to be a particularly impact resistant plastic so I don't want to drop test it, but it might hold up.Basically, it's a good product for what it was designed for, and I like it better than other types socket storage. However, it is a pretty specific design and they really should tell you what it will work for, so you know that it works for you. I would really appreciate having the sizes marked so it's easier to keep things straight.

I have a Craftsman mini-toolset that I used to keep in my SUV for emergencies. It included 23 different sockets - both SAE and metric - which were a mix of both 1/4" and 3/8" drive sockets. The cheap plastic organizer that came with the toolset was awful. It was clearly meant more as a store rack display than anything else.This HGSKEO socket holder is a perfect solution for organizing the sockets in my set. The magnets holding the sockets in place are strong. Once I loaded this holder up with all my sockets, I banged it on my workbench at various angles a few times to see if any sockets would be dislodged. They all held fast. There is also a long magnet on the back of the holder that allows you to attach it to the side of a metal toolbox or cabinet. I have mine attached to the outside of my toolbox so I can grab it quickly when I need it. Having both SAE and metric sockets in one holder is perfect for when you don't know which type you'll be needing.The item description says this holder is for 1/4" sockets, but the wider channels at the top will hold 3/8" sockets as well I do wish the plastic divider that runs down the center was adjustable side-to-side so that my larger sockets wouldn't hang over the edge, but that's just a nit-pick. I am very happy with this organizer.

I can finally keep all of my sockets in one place and now I don't have to keep searching through the bottom of my toolbag.This holder works perfectly and the strong magnets are a big plus.

Each slot on the holder should have the precise socket size identified otherwise there is no organization. metric should be separate from SAE (US) and for each set of drives

The plastic is nice and thick to ensure no breakage if it drops. The slots are adequate size to hold any sockets you have that are 1/2 drive or less. The magnets are very strong and hold everything well. I do wish the magnetic strips were a little closer together as it doesn't hold 1/4 inch sockets straight on due to their small size. Overall, highly recommend.
