I used this magnetic stirrer to mix my own Hyaluronic acid face serum, and it cut the time to make the serum by more than half. Without the stirrer it takes 8 hours to make the serum. Using the stirrer, it took only 3 hours to make the serum. I plan on using this to make other face serums. Very happy with the purchase!

Nice unit, but it didn't perform as I had hoped. Yes, it worked, but I just did not care for how the controls performed.

Connect and turn the knob to use. Simple function with one easy task. Spin the magnet bar.I use it for non science stuff but it’s the best way to mix stuff. I use it to mix protein drinks, water beverage mixes and kool-aid…Don’t use with plastic cups or glasses as it will disfigure and possibly damage the cup/glass. I use actual glass containers for this as the magnet bar will only glide over the glass but no damage to the container.

this works great for Lab equipment I have not tried this on volumetric flasks but it might work Now I have a round bottom flask that I use but I think I need different stir bars I would recommend a football shaped stir bar either way it's still works decent and I have used it for a while The only problem I have seen so far is that the lowest setting doesn't even stir If you are trying to reach low speed then put it at a higher one and slowly turn the knob downwards Besides that I haven't seen any problems with it however I would maybe recommend some more bars Because I lost one =( Also something that's funny you can even take off the knob And if you touch the main part then it's actually kind of sticky It's nice that you can take it off for cleaning purposes Also another thing one time my brother poured water all over the stir plate I quickly dried it off and it still worked I still wouldn't recommend pouring water all over it to test it I think it might be waterproof but don't test it still

En tant qu'ancien étudiant en chimie, j'ai eu le bonheur de retrouver ce fantastique appareil, pour... accélérer la maturation de mes e-liquides maison pour vapoter.Pour brasser de la glycérine, il faut de la patience et trouver la bonne vitesse de rotation, sinon le barreau aimanté se met à faire des loopings. L'incidence sur la maturation est notable, même si c'est pas foufou : 48h de brassage ont permis de ramener un steep d'un mois à 3 semaines. Pas mal quand même, quand on a procrastiné un peu trop longtemps la journée DIY.Par contre cet objet ne sert absolument pas à "dynamiser" l'eau, vu que la dynamisation n'existe pas. C'est un concept farfelu, inventé et véhiculé par des superstitieux et des charlatans.
