Aggressive Magazine Release Cut-Out
The instructors for Magpul's training division wanted a 1911 grip with advanced features, improved control characteristics, and Magpul value. These grips were designed with their input and testing and feature an aggressive magazine release cut-out.
Compatible with Ambidextrous Safeties
The grips are compatible with ambidextrous safeties and are designed to fit full size framed 1911s with standard grip screw bushings.
Anti-Slip Texture
Positive Anti-Slip Texture to prevent gun twisting and falling out of the hand. Fits Full Size Frame 1911s and copies with standard grip screw bushings.

The contour on the plastic is tiny, but its cool how surprisingly grippy they are for their low profile. It almost feels like pumice stone. I put these on my RIA 2011 10mm and they fit just fine.

I bought these to replace the very blah, bulky, smooth wooden stock grips on my Rock Island 45 1911. Installed in just a couple of minutes and these are a much better look and feel to the stock grips IMO. The thumb relief for the shooting hand (right hand) is nicely placed. Recommended if you don't care for your RIA 1911 stock grips.

The cutout for the mag release is awesome much easier and faster to mag changes,doesn't affect shooting grip as I use the safety for thumb support while firing.Fit is great, no sharp edges. If your looking for bling this is not it however if tough looking and functionalis what our looking for then this is it.

While I've used Magpul products before, this is the first set of 1911 MOE grips that I have tried. I like them and they are affordable. They fit perfect on my Colts, Kimber, RIA, and even my GSG which surprised me. They seem to be sturdy and well made. I really like the grip texture. It's somewhere between checkered wood and G10. Sort of a Goldilocks texture. Not too slippery and not too aggressive. Still getting used to the thumb scoop. It's a bit odd to me since I'm used to full GI type grips. Not bad, just different and I'll need to shoot with them a bit to get used to it. One observation is that I have medium hands and still have to shift my grip to reach the mag release with my right thumb so keep that in mind. The grips are ambi cut, but all of my guns run GI type safeties, left side only, so I can't comment on how well they fit for ambi-safeties. I'm happy with them and would buy them again.

Great grips for their price. Better texture than the government grips, but not too aggressive. Thumb cutout allows mag changes without breaking my grip.

I put them on my elite force 1911 tac so a little modification was needed to fit on my gun, but nothing a dremel tool and a few grinding, sanding, and cutting tools couldn't fix. bottom line is these are emend improvements over the stock diamond grip panels.
