The Magswitch Drill Press Vise mount makes it fast and easy to position and lock a drill press vise in place on a drill press table. The mount has three T-slots positioned to accommodate a wide range of drill press vise mounting hole patterns. The drill press vise and mount can then be placed anywhere on a cast iron drill press table, and finely positioned until it is in place. Then 4 powerful switchable magnet turn on with the flip of a switch to lock the vise in place for the drilling operation.

I bought this because Amazon will not ship a magnetic vise to Alaska. I thought I could use this instead, but it won't do for what I wanted. It will work well to hold a vise on my drill press or my milling table, so I will use it for that. I later found a magnetic vise that they would send and purchased that as well. I needed the magnetic vise to hold metal coming off my CNC plasma cutter to clean off the dross and also to prepare metal for welding.

I have several small metal vises. Only one can fit this. For the insane cost, this should have more mounting options, like a grid of channels. Also, the lock knobs are far too tight to the table, making it wicked hard to get my fingers on them to lock and unlock. It takes A LOT of strength to turn and several attempts for each one. Not the home run I expected and paid for.
