I don’t know what I was expecting, but I wasn’t expecting it to be nearly this big. It’s exceptionally well-made. It has the nice little bushing that threads on the end of your mainshaft housing so that you don’t mark the threads while this goes over the shaft, all the tolerance of same spot on And it’s just incredibly well-made like and substantial for the price now I kind of understand why it’s so much more to get the six speed transmission version versus the older style. That was what one and 3/4 of an inch it’s a smaller pulley nut anyway but I haven’t had to disassemble anything yet This was more the price was right. I was ordering the bearing and seal puller and installing tool for the transmission man shaft, so I figured I would order this at the same time and have it on hand and eventually I’ll be adding the five speed transmission variant as well if for no other reason then to be prepared for anybody who may have a big twin that needs some attention means as I have everything else why not spend another $40 and have one metal do other motorcycles. There’s been times that I’ve passed up on deals for bikes that I could have fixed and sold for a profit for no other reason than not having the tools to do the main shaft bearers which were the reason they were so cheap Now I’m all about the locking block away from being able to do the later models and locking block in the cheaper of the two sockets from doing the earlier models and then I’ll be unstoppable. As far as I’m concerned I’ve taken my very near to it. It measures right There’s no other way to tell for sure until go time but I have no doubts. I’m more than happy.
