Perfect. Genuine Makita product. I bought an old GV5000 without the pad and this small additional investment allows this fantastic tool to work as it should. For those naive like myself, this pad is not interchangeable with your basic 5” backing pad for polishers, grinders, etc. Learn from my attempts at shortcuts with backing pads that I had readily available, and don’t waste your time!

OEM pad, it fits GV5010 and it works. There is no way you can get away with using one that is broken or worn out, so get it when you can at low price, because next stop will be parts store with S/H charge more the pad cost.
