My old "S" company heat gun died. That old german heat gun lasted years, got my fingers hot holding the wires to terminate the shields. The solder sleeve nozzle from Makita is narrower and shaped so I don't burn my fingers (as bad). Much more comfortable to do the job now.

I do a lot of electrical works and invested in a Makita cordless heat gun. I saw this attachment and decided to give it a try. OK, I was impressed at how quickly and uniformly it shrunk heat shrink. Mostly, I was impressed with how well it worked on 4 gauge terminals on battery cables a welding cables.Highly recommend this attachment for anything using heat shrink tubing.

This reflector is good made, works as supposed to be on heat gun.
