I have had makita all my life! I have tried others but never was happy with them. I have a makita drill and 1/2 router that are 30 years old, done a pile of work for me and are still as strong as they were new. My fist impact i bought in 2010 and I worked it hard and it is still working so when i wanted to replace it i wanted the same model but they discontinued it, so i tried coming as close to the same as possible and i am pleased with the replacement. Im still using the same 3amp batteries that hold a good charge.

This 'refurbished' Makita impact driver had no visible blemishes that I could see. Looked brand new! Worked perfectly on my deck project and drove in 3" deck screws with ease. It even came with an instruction manual. Very happy with this purchase.
