The waxed twine is perfect for finishing off the splice I made. The needle is not. It broke the first time I used it. It can only be explained by poor quality. It’s also much too small.The photos show the broken needle on the left from Mandala Crafts. The proper size needle from another manufacturer is on the right

I used unwaxed last year for whipping in the garden and it disintegrated quickly. This waxed should last longer.

Lasted a full season. Easy to work with, strong, durable. Stays tied, but you can untie it if necessary.

Although made in china 🤬, product served purpose. Nicely waxed, easy to use. See if material rots after a year. Used for whipping end of loop on nylon line for a flag halyard.

I used this to make some waist beads after the beads I bought from a festival broke. Not only is it RIDICULOUSLY sturdy, but it is able to hold a knot with ease. My beads are beyond secure and I don’t see them coming off unless I manually take them off.

i am using this to whip horse halter rope. this is a great product to do that with. the twine sticks to itself very well and is easy to work with. but, it doesn’t leave a waxy or sticky feeling on your hands. a great product that i would highly recommend.
