The part failed a little over a year after it was purchased. I do not believe this part is genuine as it went bad quickly. The original last almost 6 years before it needed replacement.

******BEWARE******Non OEM parts. Had my friend to order probe for his ice maker. It was advertised with wiring harness and being oem part. No wiring harness came with it and it had the wrong plug end on the probe. I am a Manitowoc tech. These are not Manitowoc parts. This is what you call Chinese knockoffs. Chinese engineering at its finest. Don't waste your time and money on this garbage.

I ordered 3 probe assemblies, one if the probe cables had plastic that had not been removed from the pin connection for one of the terminal board end plugs. I had to drill out the hole carefully to allow installation. The one with the defective plug was in a non OEM zip lock bag.
