This product absorbs the candle dye. Would not recommend. I made a black candle and now my mold is ruined. I make a nice candle.

Great candle mold, so much better than using a metal mold.

There were no slits in the mold. I had to cut my own and that is not working well at all.

Ive had one of these candle molds for years and years and it has never disappointed. I just purchased the 9 inch mold because I lost my old one in a move. Its just as high quality as the older one. All my candle pours come out amazing. Sometimes it is a little difficult to get the candle out of the mold but that has never bothered me. Doesn't come with a slit cut in the side, I did not cut one. I use this as is, and that works well for me. Will buy again in the future if I want more sizes.

I ordered the 3x3, 3x6, 3x9 molds. The 3x3 was fairly easy to remove but the 3x6 is impossible. It is still in the mold and I can’t get it out. I don’t want to cut it!

We had to cut this in half to get it to work.

Already made six or seven beeswax candles and they've come out beautifully each time. Haven't had to use mold release: I pour the wax, let it cool two or three hours and then pop it in the refridgerator for a couple of hours. The fully-refrigerated wax shrinks away from the mold and the candle pops right out. One caveat: if you add color to your (white) beeswax, it will stain the mold and may transfer to the next candle. So use one mold for similar dark colors, another for similar light colors, another for plain beeswax, etc. I don't work with paraffin waxes, so I don't know how well they would do with this mold.

This is a great candle mold. I had not made candles for a long while, and the old plastic mold wasn't cutting it. I got this mold and it is great. The candles released easily, and they look very good. You will need a large needle to thread it, but there are no other special requirements. I liked the flex mold so much that I also got a another.

A local apiary that I buy wax and honey from recommended these molds, so I ordered some and was not disappointed! They are very easy and straight forward to use with clear instructions. I wish that the molds came with a suggested wick size indicated somewhere on the mold or in the instructions, although with a bit of digging this information can be found on the Mann Lake website.
