This jacket worked fine for the first year with only occasional use. However after the elastic waist and cuffs started gett9ign slack. by the end of the second year you will have to tape up the waist and cuffs. Quality elastic would have made such a difference.

Jacket is super lightweight foam like . Doesn’t seem very durable. I would have thought for the price and coming from Mann Lake it would be more functional for the professional beekeeper. The hood was way to big and in fact seemed to have an extra screen section. And like their economy jacket seemed to leave screen area vulnerability around ears and neck. The whole thing sagged and bunched up in front right in your workspace.

I was advised to get a specific kind of jacket. It had 3 layers. and very breathable. The middle layer of the coat I was attempting to order has a very rubber type of grid type fabric. This jacket did not have that and was basically composed of two different types of fabric. One is just a thicker layer of padding. It was very warm during the summer but if i do any work with feeding bees in the fall, it works great.
