I upgraded the 1970’s room thermostats. Easy install and works great.

It is advertised as work with 2 or 4 wire baseboards but it does not always. Bought 4 but will be sending two back

bought two packs of these for the baseboard heaters in my home. They look really good and have status lights when they are on and heating.Easy to wire in, but if you are not proficient with electrics, use a electrician.

Ordered 12. Installed 5 with success. 6th cycles on and off. Grabbed a 7th one thinking had 1 bad out of the box. Also kept cycling. Swapped heater units with known good and still cycling. Removed newly installed thermostat from a different room and it worked. To get 2 bad out of the box out of 7 is pretty bad. Returning them all and not even trying the unopened 5. Sticking to HoneyWell.

The heat only T-stat is great and works perfectYou will just have to know how to wire a switch especially if you are replacing a 2 wire T-stat with this T-statThe direction are not that clear so be carefulI saw some review pictures and it looked liked they mis-wired the T-stat or over amped itI installed this one on a gas fired shop heater so all it was doing was energizing the transformer

PROS : First let me say that the Thermostat works, It's well made and easy enough to install.CONS : Not very accurate (but maybe it's the way I set it up).The Green & red lights are VERY BRIGHT (picture in day light and at night, ) , good thing it's in the hallway as it give us plenty light to go in the kitchen at night to get a glass of water without turning the lights on.NO WAY to install it in a bedroom as it would be way to much brightness to sleep.I don't know why those lights are there , not only do they use more electricity but they're not justified to me & are just a gimmick. If the heater comes on, then the thermostat is working just fine .Anyway the thermostat is fine , works as intended and reasonably priced. The lights are the only reason for the 4* otherwise it would be a 5*

Great product, good price easy installation. I could not be happier with it. I installed a combination heater/AC unit in my 12'x 24' shop. Even though it is well insulated the cold Wisconsin winter caused my heating bill for the shop to skyrocket. In heat mode the lowest setting on the unit is 62 degrees. All I need is to keep the shop above freezing when I'm not working in it to keep my paint from freezing. I ran the outlet my heater is plugged into through this thermostat and now I only have to keep it at 40 degrees when I'm not in there. This will save me a ton of money this winter. Come summertime, when I want the A/C, I just have to disconnect the thermostat. Which is easy because there are no wire nuts or separate connectors. The wires just fit into the back of the thermostat and are held in place with a screw.
