This is perfect for the intended purpose of covering planter pots to keep rodents and squirrels out . Cuts easily and is flexible. But the smell is overwhelming! Galvanized steel should have no scent to mild metal smell only . This clearly has something sprayed or coated on it. There’s no need for it so it makes no sense. I Will look for strictly American made from now on. I notice many items from oversees have strong chemical smells on them.

Used to close up openings in a large wooden shed in my backyard. A pesky squirrel had set up residence and the repellent they sell on Amazon was ineffective. With a staple gun and this wire cloth I was able to deny the squirrel access back to his home. Was pretty easy to work with, to bend in the right places. It does have sharp ends after cutting so gloves are recommended. The included scissors worked great and glad it came with them. Recommend highly.

Product comes wrapped & packaged very well; -- beware it will unravel quickly. Wear gloves when handling so you do not cut hands or fingers. Scissors sent to cut are okay -- but I suggest using hand shears so your hand is not caught into the wire being cut. This 1/4 inch mesh was cut and wired to inside of a suet holder for birds - so instead of almost 1 inch holes for birds to " hog " the suet down... the birds have to work a little harder to get suet and I do not have to buy as much suet .. Product is made in China which is not disclosed when I purchased.. but seems like most products are manufactured in 🇨🇳 today.

I purchased and then cut this into 3 equal strips. I then placed one edge underneath my roof shingles and let the other side rest on top of the outer edge of the rain gutters. Works perfectly to keep leave and large objects from stopping up the rain gutters. Ne need to purchase the high dollar leaf protectors for you rain gutters. This screen is working perfectly for us. No more climbing onto the roof to blow or scrap out the gutters. Leaves just blow over the screen and NO more clogged gutters!!!

Very compared to the woven cloth I had used before this. I did not get any of the fraying I saw from the woven cloth - avoiding the inevitable 'stuck in my finger or hand' wire issue with that same woven cloth. Cut easy, sturdy for my application - no complaints

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product for dealing off stick l attic vents from rodents. To keep out both nice and rats you need 1/4" mesh (mice can get their teeth around anything bigger to chew through the mesh), and this was one of the few with a heavy enough gauge. But not too heavy to cut fairly easily with the shears that came bundled with the product. I was surprised that they worked so well. Perfect for what I needed to do. Very happy with this purchase.
