I bought this as a gift for my friend starting out her matcha journey and she loved it! It has all the items you need and I just added in a matcha powder from Ippudo.I like this design because it’s more unique than the standard colors or clear glass bowls. No issues with damage during shipping either.

I love the way this causes the matcha not to clump! I don’t like the sweetened matcha because it can tend to have too much added sugars and I like to sweeten with more natural sugars. Thus, I would try to electric whisk hot water or milk with raw matcha powder and it was ALWAYS clumpy. Now, I can enjoy a hot or iced matcha beverage to my own specificities/liking! The only thing is that the wooden whisk is rather flimsy and will not last past probably 10-15 matcha routines I’m sure!

Everything is packaged nicely and I use the box for storage when not in use. I use this a handful of times every month - its a nice treat. The quality of the bowl is really nice. The whisk is pleasant to use and making a matcha drink overall a nice experience with this kit. The wooden instruments are easy to clean but does take a while to air dry, something to keep in mind.

The ceramic matcha bowl is nice and smooth, the spout is very useful for not wasting any precious matcha. My only complaint would be that the sifter is not very good quality. I have been using mine daily for the past two weeks and it is already rusting at the handle.
