The first 20" Marshalltown scrub brush that I purchased lasted almost 40 years. This one lasted only a couple of uses before its bristles wore down to nubbins. From one perspective, having an average of 20 years usage per brush is a good deal. I still would have liked for the second brush to have had a longer useful life. It was not the Marshalltown quality that I expected. When I called Marshalltown customer service, I was told that I could not file a claim since I did not buy directly from Marshalltown but perhaps my supplier could file a claim. The warranty stated here says that you must ship the item prepaid to have it repaired or replaced. That is not practical. If you purchase this brush, view it more as a throwaway.
