Looks to be a good balance of quality and cost for beginner to intermediate throwers. Total weight came in at 1022g and the rim percentage came in at 77%, which is good for a HS girls red discus.

Good feel for an 80% rim weight 1kg discus but the tradeoff is that the ABS centre plates crack easily. Easy to disassemble so I have repaired my cracks with crazy glue, acrylic auto paint and clear coat and ended up looking better than new. Very good price...

Very comfortable in the hand. The weight has yet to come loose as well, which I recall being an issue on my equipment in high school. I only rate this as a 3 for beginners because I wouldn't recommend using this on your own without training or a coach. For those who know how to throw, however, great product.

Besides that it does not go as far as I would like, it works just fine. Arrived on time and was in good shape. A real bargain.FYI, it is not the discus fault - I am just a crappy thrower

First disc cracked after A few throws. Got a replacement with no questions asks. Second is still working after hundreds of throws.

This discus did not work - my daughter throws discus at school and she thought this looked just like the one she uses, but when it arrived and she took it to the park to test it out, it wobbled in the air and went about half the distance she can normally throw. She tried a number of times to test it out, but it didn't work. We sent it back and got a refund.
