Usefull but not very sturdy. Lots of flex, and the joints look as if they will come apart.

Perhaps the P65 warning was for the welds on the back (shown in pics) which may have lead or other carcinogens. I have never seen this sticker on any other stainless steel item I have purchased. Or perhaps because these mashing tweezers are not solid Stainless Steel they are just coated. I need and want non toxic stainless steel tools so these were returned immediately.

This device is on a tweezer type of clamping mechanism. As such it does not close perfectly all the way around the square mashers. To make a cube you would have to use this device lightly. The very end comes together first so a simple closing of this device will not create a perfect square of your bead. This masher can create a perfect square but you have to work at it. The best part is it costs a lot less than a hydraulic press. :)
