I love me some microgreens and this is a wonderful way to utilize my larger Ball Jar's to make them. Very easy to use and they seem to be well made. No rust or corrosion so far.

Really pleased with the quality. Definitely stainless – I've sprouted multiple batches and they look like new. The silicone lids are a nice feature for putting spouts straight into the fridge without having to use another container. Will buy another set if I expand my concurrent sprouting jars.

I'm using these to sprout wheat for my chickens. These are the best sprouters I've ever used. They are sturdy and easy to clean. It only takes 4 days for 1 cup of wheat to become nearly 2 quarts of high-protein fresh snacks to supplement my girls' feed. I'm using four 2-quart Mason jars, in rotation. I use regular city tap water. Here is my method:Day 1, soak a cup of wheat overnight.Day 2, pour out water, rinse & drain.Day 3, rinse & drain.Day 4, rinse, and ready to eat!Repeat! My chickens love these sprouts, and so do my 3 dogs! I just leave them on the kitchen counter, as you can see. When the weather gets hotter, I will probably have to rinse them twice a day.I have also sprouted lentils the same way, with similar results. You can use any seeds with these sprouting lids. So fast and easy!I should add that I'm using 20-year-old wheat from my food storage and I'm still getting great results.

What a great product! It is well made and looks like it will last a long time. The lids fit perfectly on my wide mouth Ball mason jars (quart size). The silicone lids even have a groove so they fit snugly on the jar lip. The strainer works either way round but fits better when it is bulging out of the jar. The company has made an effort to keep the packaging minimal and recyclable, which is nice.

Things I love:Stainless, won't rust, no plasticDomed strainer, helps them drain betterDishwasher safeAlternative silicone top for refrigerationI just ordered a second set since I want to grow more sprouts. I had some quart Ball jars that are amber and don't have to cover them with a towel or put them in a cupboard! Just on the counter to remind me to rinse them 3-4 times a day. I do before/after meals and before bed, so it's not time consuming. I transfer them to the clear ball quart jars on the last day to put in the window for greening, and store them in that jar.Today I got some citric acid (like I used to use for canning tomatoes) and will soak and rinse with that to keep them from getting moldy. 1 tsp per quart of water for the overnight soak and rinse. I won't rise it every time with the citric, but once a day and the soaking and last rinse before refrigeration. Not that they were getting moldy, but in the summer that will be a risk.I have also ordered the rack that tilts them but it hasn't arrived yet. That will make it perfect if it works well.I originally ordered Now Foods broccoli and mung sprouts, though they aren't organic, they are meant for sprouting. They worked extremely well, full jars of sprouts. Next I'll try organic lentils (regular, not for sprouting) and see how that turns out. The sprouting seeds are more expensive, so I'm hoping the regular organic versions will also sprout as well. Organic can't be treated, so as long as they are fresh, it should work.I've been eating sprouts every day, since I like them, nice and fresh. I use a quart jar within 2-3 days. The mung are better for stir fry and the broccoli for sandwiches and salads instead of lettuce. Nice and crunchy.
