My current connector's latch was broken due to age on my 1997 Lexus LX450/Toyota Land Cruiser. The truck is 27 years old. I de-pinned both connectors and reconnected the pins in the car. Now the connector is new and the latch works. No more worrying about it becoming disconnected while driving. I don't have to have an ugly group of zip ties either!

If you're a novice, be aware that the colors likely won't match, just be sure to match pin 1 to pin 1, 2 to 2, etc...I needed this due to living in the desert and having packrats and rabbits climb into my engine bay to eat the delicious delicious wiring.I installed it in about 15 minutes, cleared the check engine code, and drove the car for an hour without issue.

It fit perfectly, and the quality is very good. It even came already stripped on the wire tips, just pull the precut wire insulation on the tips.Remember this unit fits other models so the wire colors may not match. Just use the original plug in you took off as reference to connect the right colors to the correct ports, in the proper sequence.
