These served the purpose of consolidating 6 different locks on various outbuildings. I found the construction to be a bit wobbly on all 6 where the shackle slides into the body. makes it bind if you're trying to close the lock one handed. Perhaps the shorter shackle model would be better but I needed the extra length for some applications. Overall OK for a light duty lock, and locks are really only to keep honest people honest..
