I got this to brew up an occasional match and it's been great!You have everything you need here, including a little packet of matcha to get you started.The whisk is really nice and does it's job very well. If you use it correctly you'll froth of the match very nicely and everything will blend really well. You alsonget the whisk holder with it for when you're not using it.The bowls are nice and thick and have some nice weight to them. The spoon is pretty close to what you'd expect, it's essentially just a curved stick, but you get a really consistent portion with it.Overall it's a great kit, and would make a really nice gift!Highly recommend!

This set has everything needed for a proper matcha experience. The whisk works well, and the bowl feels sturdy. Nice traditional look. Good for beginners and regular drinkers alike.

This matcha tea set is so beautiful and elegant. The cups and bowls have some weight to them, they are nicely glazed and I believe they are ceramic (at least they feel this way). The cups are a little smaller than I anticipated, but after consideration, I actually enjoy the smaller cups as they feel more traditional. The mixing bowl is a good size and allows for a lot of whisking space. The tea towel it comes with is very soft and slightly absorbent. It is used best to catch small drops or spills.This is my first bamboo matcha whisk, but so far it seems to be working well. The whisk came very coiled up at the ends and relaxed quickly in warm water. It is still not fully uncoiled, but it's almost there. As far as the wooden spoon and the measuring tool, they are also made of bamboo and work as advertised. The same goes for the sifter!The entire set is very easy to wash, including the bamboo items. Overall, I would highly recommend this matcha set for both aesthetics and functionality. I definitely believe this is worth the money if you are looking for something to take your matcha game up a step! You get everything you need to easily make matcha at home and it isn't too expensive. This would also make a great gift for someone who likes matcha but doesn't have a more traditional set!

This matcha set is both aesthetically pleasing and well-crafted. It includes a handbook, a bamboo whisk, a ceramic whisk stand, a bamboo spoon, a bamboo scoop, a ceramic scoop rest, a sifter, a tea towel, a ceramic matcha bowl, and two ceramic cups — all finely made. The five ceramic items are high-quality; having worked in a pottery shop during my college years four decades ago, I know a bit about ceramics. The bamboo scoop and spoon are well-crafted, and the whisk is flawless and exquisitely crafted.During our last visit to Japan more than a year ago, our family attended a tea ceremony training course in Kyoto. I have also watched videos on how matcha whisks are handmade—a process requiring time, skill, and effort. Given the affordability of this set, I suspect the whisk might be machine-made, yet I cannot imagine a machine producing something so delicate and intricate.The only potential durability concern is the bamboo whisk, but only time will tell how long it lasts. I will update my review if any issues arise. Although I do not think the matcha tea-making process needs to be overly ceremonial, I like this matcha set. It is complete, looks beautiful, performs well, and is absolutely worth recommending.

I always know tea drinking is an act. But for the longest time, I simply used tea bag or proclaimed or ceramic tea pot to boil my tea. I have been drinking all type of Asian tea since I was at a very young age. Being Chinese, you really can't escape drinking.tea. lol....I always loved drinking Japanese green tea. Recently I purchased green tea powder and decided it's time to upgrade my passion a bit, so I decided to give this set a try. I especially LOVED the matcha whisk to diffuse my green tea powder. Although not exactly the best quality, the ceramic teal coloured tea green added the authenticity of tea drinking ceremony. The set is very beautiful in colour, comes with everything needed for a matcha making, reminded me in an actual museum where you set the complete green tea making set. There is also a beautiful including tea towel.Only one thing is I wanted to purchase more tea cups as it only come with 2. So you can only share your Macha drinking passion with one other person. Lol...I loved this set so much that now I have a special corner in my kitchen just to store this set, so that it can be easily accessible and I can drink green tea powder in a regular basis . The box and packaging of this Japanese tea set is also very well done. You can easily give this as a gift to any macha lovers. Overall, would recommend this to those that wanted to up their games in Macha / Japanese green tea making cemeony!

This product is absolutely beautiful and looks EXACTLY like the picture - from the packaging to the contents. It's packaged in a cute floral box (again, exactly like the picture) and upon opening, everything was so neatly packaged with nothing broken or shifted. The mottled green color is SO pretty and earthy, and again...exactly like the picture.The quality of the items are amazing as well - ceramic and bamboo - so I imagine, with proper care, it will last a while. Such good bang for your buck considering everything included. I haven't used it yet but based on how it looks and was packaged, I cannot imagine anything will be wrong with it, at least not for a long time.The video that the seller posted was what encouraged me to get this compared to others. I'm more likely to trust a product that is actually shown in a non-photoshopped or AI created video - just a real person opening and showing us the actual product. Now that I have it, it is quite literally everything the video and pictures makes it out to be.If you're looking for a dainty, cute, complete matcha making set...then get this!

First impressions: box set sent in original box so the outside got a little dented and bent. But the inside is packed well with a lot of stuffing so everything was not damaged. All the tools down to the bamboo whisk were made of quality materials and built well. There is a little booklet that teaches you how to use everything. So this is perfect for both experienced users and beginners. Looking back, I wish I got the pink one because my wife would have enjoyed it a lot more. But the green is more “traditional” in a sense. The cups and bowls themselves are not large. But there are a lot of components to this so just keep that in mind. The purpose of this is to promote mindfulness, which I guess serves this function well. The design is elegant and simple. You could leave some of the pieces out as decoration.Overall, loved this set. I do feel like it is a little pricey for what it is. I have seen similar options of the same quality for less. But I would recommend this. The taste of a matcha latte is that much better knowing I did this myself.

I watched how Japanese people do the macha there and it was so elegant and graceful. This tea set is perfect! I love the way I can use the matcha whisk to diffuse my green tea powder. (I bought the powder on Asian online market), and the green ceramic add the authenticity of tea drinking ritual.
