  • Learn Many Math Facts Through Play: A fun way to learn many math facts and reinforce your students’ skill of combinations of 10. Colorful pictures of animals are much more fun for kids to play with and keep their attention the whole time. Strengthen number sense and teach addition and subtraction with this 10-based game
  • Memory Match Game: Lay cards face down in a grid formation. Players take turns flipping over 2 cards, trying to find a matching pair. If a match is found, the player keeps the pair and gets another turn. If the cards don't match, turn them back, and it's the next player's turn. The player with the most pairs wins
  • Easy to Teach and Fun to Play: Animal-themed game encourages kids to “catch” combinations of 10! Players take turns flipping cards to show numbers, any player who finds two or more cards can make 10 can call out "I make 10!" (like 2 + 8, or 5 + 3 + 2), and keep those cards. Collect the most sets of 10s to win! Beware of the monster cards, pull one and you have to put all your pieces back
  • Make 10 and More: The object of the game is to make 10, you can also make up your version to practice what you're learning. Make it more challenging for older students, and have them try and get the sum of 20, or teach number sequencing to your preschooler. The possibilities are endless. This is a terrific addition to our hands-on math games and activities
  • A Great Catch: This math game features 90 sturdy cardboard number cards and 10 monster cards, kid-friendly illustrations of animals on the reverse side, all packed in a storage box that helps you take them anywhere. You have many reasons to choose this educational game as a birthday or Christmas surprise for your little kids or take it to travel or have a road trip. It is a perfect introduction to playing games with others and promotes social skills

I figured this might help provide a bit of fun for our math practice but it was not challenging or interesting enough for our 7 year old. I think it is really meant more for very early math learners and would be good for kindergarten or early first grade. That said, the set is a good value and the choices provide for a few cute matching, math and memory games so it is worth a try for younger children.

This is a fun game to play with our first grader. As with some translated games, the instructions aren't the most clear, however they are easy enough to figure out. While the instructions are for adding to 10, this game is flexible enough that you can make the sum any number that you want. It's great to practice math for the little ones.

I can never tell for sure if my elementary school daughter will benefit from a math activity, so I try not to expect too much. But she can’t get enough of these. We’ve been making up various math games with them, and she adores the animals in the other side of the number. And we’ve decided the monster is zero.Highly recommended!

We like this 100-piece set, especially considering the number of games you can play and the price. The "coins" are made of thick cardboard with numbers on one side and animal pictures on the other. The animal pictures are a decent representation of many types, not just the vertebrates; they are not photos, but are eye-catching illustrations. We found that six coins did not have a match, and are probably included to make the game more interesting. There are also "monster coins" added in. The narrow, small plastic storage case does not take up much room, but is large enough to house everything. There is also an idea leaflet for how to use the set for addition, subtraction, and matching games, but you truly could use your imagination to make up your own. We will see how durable the set is over time, but for now, it is fun to match up the animals with our granddaughter. 5 stars for a fun little learning activity.

This is a very versatile matching game set. You can use the included rule book or have the kids make up their own rules like matching colors on the disks or by the types of animals. There are 2 of 50 different animals. Let them get creative like if they can create a short story about the 2 or even 3 animals then they can keep them. With the numbers, you can make games about addition or multiplication. There are 10 of each number 1 through 9 plus 10 monster cards that can be 0 or wild card. You can have the kids play for treats or maybe even chores. There are so many possibilities.

I needed to find a game for my third grade students who struggle with their number sense and being able to quickly make tens. This is a critical concept to support students in learning and completing harder math tasks. I always have a handful who really need practice in making tens and this game will be perfect to be able to help them learn with their peers in a fun way. I like how many cards there are and the quality of the cards is nice. They are thick enough to last for some time.

We obtained this game for our 5-year-old to work on their math skills. The rules were easy to follow and we modified them slightly to encourage them to go more often. Overall this would make a fun classroom game as well at a station. I would highly recommend.

Other than finding pairs that sum to 10, there's no obvious game here. Like, I thought it was a memory sort of thing so that base-10 pairs would be picture matches. Not the case. Unclear what game you're supposed to play here and, hence, what these are really doing.
