The hand operated motion system is simple and effective. Like all DSDs, these decoys are lightweight, quiet and constructed out of legendary A. C. E. Technology. They can withstand a shotgun blast or a broadhead with little to no visible wear to the surface and no affect to the decoy’s shape.

The first time we use them, we had two Jake’s come running in and attack that Jake decoy. Son missed at ten yards. The issue is the string is too short. You need to add more string to get it to about 30 yards from the blind. It’s very high-quality and very realistic. Heavy and bulky to carry in long distances. For the right set up it’s a great decoy and can add motion to pull birds from across the field.

I'm a HUGE fan of DSD decoys and that's all I use for turkey hunting. While this set is VERY realistic, it's a lot of work to set up when you are either: a.) setting up in the dark or b.) moving your setup on the fly to chase a gobbler. This would be great for a blind hunt on private land. The hen lies flat and you have to put a stake through her and set the jake on top and then you run a string through eye bolts and back to where you are. I would be interested to see how that jake holds up over the years as mature Toms would 100% ATTACK this and this jake decoy sits on a internal pole which I would think would eventually get damaged from abuse. Wasn't a fan. I returned it. I'll stick with my new mating hen and a separate jake. I won't get the movement, but my set will stand the test of time.

This decoy will drive Toms crazy during spring season. Not sure during fall. Was amazing to see how the Toms reacted to this.
