I wish the difference came across in pictures, but it doesn’t, so I can’t show the difference, but this sealer looks so lovely on my slate tiles! The colors are nicer and it has just the right amount of gloss in the finish to not look unnatural but still bring out a little lovely shine, the way you’d want stone to look. I will never miss another sealing. Just lovely!

I have porcelain tile that has a fairly rough, matte finish and I was worried that sealing it would produce a surface with too much slip and too much gloss. My chief purpose in applying it was to seal grout that gets dirty too easily and is hard to clean. I contemplated just sealing the grout, but that would have been too painstaking. I will say that the finished product has slightly more gloss than I would have chosen, but I expect most people would judge the look to be better than it had been before sealing. I was hoping that after coating, the tile would give a first impression of stone as it did uncoated; but it looks much more like tile. Color variation is a little more pronounced (in a good way) and there is some gloss in bright light. Grip is just as good in bare feet and rubber soles, a little less so in socks.The product is easy to apply, being the perfect viscosity for the thickness one is aiming at. The smell is quite bearable. I was glad I chose to have the windows open during application, but it was the middle of winter when I applied it; and I closed the windows within an hour of when I was finished. In a very tightly sealed house I noticed a hint of ammonia for a day or two after coating. I'm pretty sensitive to smells and this was barely more detectable than the smell from a room or two painted with a low VOC paint.Long ago, early in my life I saw acrylic floor coating systems peel. It's been a month since I did my 2300 sf home and, so far, no hint of that happening.I am a person who suffers from incredibly high expectations, and this sealant either met or nearly met all of them. Based on my experience so far, I'd recommend it to anyone with similar needs and expectations.

I thought we would have to replace the flooring in the water damaged spot, but this sealer returned the color to nearly original. It did require several coats with drying in between and it started to get glossier (not matte) the more coats applied.

This is a result of a diode laser 10w engraving on slate coasters. Left coaster is without this sealer and the right is with. There is very little shine but also makes the engraving pop more.

Originally purchased a Wet-Look Sealer but didnt like the high gloss. This was a great alternative. Easy to apply. Used a Small 6 inch paint foam roller -- covered the Foyer 10x12 floor if 30 minutes. Made Black Slate look very rich in color without the high gloss of a Wet Finish Sealer. Nice Product.

Easy to apply. Very thin, and I have even sprayed it through an airbrush to seal small things. I prefer this over the high gloss Miracle sealant. Even though it is labeled as "Matte", it still has some sheen when dried. I found that I need 2-3 coats to get a really good seal. After sealing I gave it a "butter" test to verify the quality of seal. I melted butter onto the surface and let it sit for a few hours before cleaning off with soapy water. Perfect seal!

This did not seem to "enhance" much of anything... But i bought it mostly to seal my tile work. So hopefully it'll do the job.
