Color chart

Rock N Soil concrete color pigment recommended dosage rates is between 3% to 10% by weight of dry concrete depending on depth of color required in the mix. Dosage levels above this amount will produce little color change as ‘color saturation’ has been reached. When it dries it becomes lighter than when the color is still wet.

They can be blended with each other to produce an even wider range of colors. You can mix them to match the colors you need. Black is widely used in the concrete industry. It can be mixed to darken other pigments, and used alone to make light greys, dark greys or straight black. Our black has a bluish tinge to it which will be deeper than other redish tinge.

When colouring in the mass, pigments can be mixed with equal part water directly into the concrete. The pigments can also be sprinkled on a wet concrete surface, which can be then burnished with a finishing trowel ( or brushed) to create unique effects. Pigment can also be added to the concrete sealer/ protective coat. These options will require less pigment than colouring in the mass.

The shades of our dark colors tend towards the opaque colors found in nature, and thus fit harmoniously with the environment. They have stronger weather resistance and are more suitable for outdoor use, especially for cement applications. The vivids colors are very popular for interior use in gypsum and clay plasters to produce bright colors. Both colors play an important role in the design of living space and coloring of interior walls. Often pastel colors are favored.

To ensure consistent coloring, keep all variables the same from batch to batch. Variations in the mix design, mixing time and curing conditions may affect the final color.

Colours shown are for information purposes only: Actual colors may vary from the colour on your screen due to monitor differences.

it is definitely a solid color no matter the amount you use it is not transparent keep that in mind if you need transparent look elsewhere, this does come pretty close to the advertised color and i find that somewhat difficult buying on here you can't know for sure until you see for yourself. now i did find that if you use to much of this it will go from nice green grass to slightly bluish AstroTurf , so practice before you go all in.

First of all, always be careful when handling. This absolutely should not be inhaled or allowed to get in your eyes.I used it to make a purple stream out of acrylic and it's great. A little goes a long way and the color is amazing. It's not transparent at all. That was great for me, because I needed it to be solid. I've only used it once, but I so far I love it.

100/100I can't speak to every use, but THIS is a beautiful, deep ultramarine blue pigment powder. It arrives in a plastic bag inside another heavier bag. I immediately "decanted" it into a glass jar that has a good, tight seal. It is a fine powder and seems to be pretty clump-free.Ultramarine is the color that was originally derived from Lapis Lazuli and in times past was VERY expensive. Lapis is my "thing" soI have a lot of Lapis stone and this pigment is perfect for adding Ultramarine to practically any project.Ultimately, is it worth the price? Yes

I pulled some stars because of packaging it comes in a zip lock style baggie kinda a mess in the package and storage. Color is bright and vibrant and mixes well with resin

I use this mixed-in epoxy and even though it is a matte purple, I added some mica powder that shimmers to get the look I wanted. You only need a small amount as it goes a long way. It is a wonderful purple that is bright and opaque. My recommendation is to wear a mask or respirator as the fine powder gets into the air.
