I loaned my 30 year old Bosch 3283DVS sander to my daughter to do some painting prep. I hadn’t used the sander in a few years, and wasn’t surprised that the pad finally disintegrated.Was skeptical that I could find a replacement, and was pleasantly surprised to find this pad at such a reasonable price. Installing it on the was super easy (one hex bolt). I was impressed by the quality of the pad. It’s very stiff (a good thing) and holds the hook & loop sandpaper firmly. I hope to hang around long enough to see if it’ll last 30 years like the OEM pad.
