How to identify your Turbocharger?
All turbochargers should have an identification label or nameplate secured to the outside casing of the turbocharger. It is preferable if you can supply us with this make and part number of the actual turbo fitted to your car.

* Replace, repair or reconnect air cleaner element per manufacturer's manual to avoid compressor wheel damage.
* Make sure the oil drain line is lower than the turbo itself.
* Gasoline car must install a water cooling device to avoid overheating.
* Ensure exhaust outlet are well sealed by welding
* The degree of modification of the universal turbo depends on your individual vehicle.Professional installation is highly recommended.
* This Turbo is not vehicle specific. Please check the specifications and verify compatibility prior to placing your order.
* Before installing the new turbocharger, the cause that led to the failure of the turbo must be analyzed and eliminated (e.g. insufficient oil supply, foreign bodies in the intake area, crankcase ventilation without function, etc.)!

spent all weekend putting this turbo and a cheap front mount intercooler into my 03 gti 20th anniversary. overall the turbo was clean, and seemed well assembled, its currently installed and running fine, we'll see if it can last. My only complaint is for the banjo bolt fittings they supplied fiber washers as gaskets instead of new crush washers, so i ended up reusing the old crush washers. i would not run those paper gaskets as a leak anywhere that these are would be a huge pain to fix.
