"I needed a replacement mulching blade for my mower, and this one works perfectly The blade is sharp and well-balanced, making cutting smooth and efficient It fits perfectly on my MTD mower, and installation was super easyThe durability is great, and it holds up well even with thick grass The mulching performance is excellent, creating fine clippings that break down easily into the lawnThis blade offers great value for money, excellent functionality, and is easy to use If you need a high-quality replacement blade, this is a fantastic choice Highly recommend

The blade arrived quickly and was priced fairly compared to everything else these days. As you may have guessed from the title, I am not the most gentle person on mowing equipment. I do not intentionally run over rocks and stumps but I do sometimes manage to find them when I am not paying close enough attention. These blades hold up as good as can be expected for the way I treat them. I have no complaints with the quality. They do quite well actually to hold up as long as they do when mowing the gravel pit that is my lawn. I'll buy more as I try to keep a spare on hand to minimize down time.

I don't have a picture but the blade was just as pictured in the ad, perfectly fit my mower and is installed cutting like a chef, lol. It's very sturdy, great material, sharpened, easy to install and the correct hole to fit my mower.! Did the job!

Wasn't sure if I needed a new blade, but the difference was dramatic. This is a great blade. I use my mower in mulching mode and the results are fantastic. You cannot see any cut grass blades anywhere.Quick Tips: Tilt your mower on it's side with the oil fill/dipstick ending up on the ground side to avoid oil pouring into the cylinder. Just grab it on the opposite side (gloves recommended) and lift. DON'T try to do this using the handle. You don't need anything to support it, it is designed to do this and it won't fall on it's back (the handle prevents this).Take a quick pic with your phone camera in landscape mode before loosening the old blade so you remember how the washer goes (dimples down towards blade) and the way the old blade is attached. Lay your new blade over the old blade BEFORE removing it, so you know which side is up, then lay the new blade down exactly as you will mount it, then remove the old blade.Undoing the bolt is standard. Right to tight, left to loose. Using an impact driver with a socket adapter makes it easy. If using a socket wrench, make sure it's TIGHT (don't worry, you won't strip it). You want to do this when the mower is "cold" (i.e. has not been running). Wait 10 minutes before starting to let the oil fall back into place. If your like me, you'll really enjoy that first mow with the new blade! Like how your rig runs better when you pull out of the car wash, right? But seriously, if it's been more that 3 years since you put a new blade on it, you will see a difference!

Finding a replacement blade is not easy. There are too many sizes and styles for local hardware stores to stock. Before I removed the old blade I didn't even realize the style of the hole in the blade could be a specific shape. (It isn't visible until you take off the bolt.) This one has worked well and is very durable. I'm only replacing it now, because I bent the 1st one by hitting a very old, practically petrified, above ground tree root.
