Garage was full of wood and flammable materials, needed to get the welder outside to do a major house project with a gate. this cord was perfect. it is very beefy and seems well built. ran my welder at 150 or so amps for hours on end without any heat in the cord.

The quality is better than I thought it would be, I gave my welding cord to a family in need to connect their live-in trailer up, this unit is to replace it, but I got surprised when I received it today and seen the quality, anyone will be pleased with this purchase.

Honestly, its feels like it does the job. It's good for now. The black plastic that covers the wires, seems to be pretty thin, I would hate to scuff it on a sharp edge as it might tear open... last thing I need is an expose electrical wire. But if youre careful with it, yes it is worth the money. I've used it for a 220v 50amp welder and plasma cutter and it does the trick! Over all great buy for 100bucks!

Works as it should and I have used it a few times to hook up my 240 v mig welder. Cord appears to be well made, but as for durability it will take a few years to comment as I don’t use it enough, but for my purposes should be fine.

I use this to charge my Model X on the curb and it works very well. The cable is very strong and well built. Not cheap. Great connectors as well.

This cord will work great with mig welding equipment. The cord is sturdy but not too stiff allowing you to easily position it. The small light also is helpful to signify when electrical current is on the cord.

great value for the money as it is genuine stranded copper 8guage cable with proper ends on it, however the outer sheathing is a little stiff even at above freezing temps im skeptical how itll handle a canadian winter outside, also the female plug is a really tight fit even after 20-30 uses it cant be pulled apart by hand, i have to unplug the cord and use a steel bar to pry the connection apart.. it seems to be the ground prong that gives the trouble but i dont know what a solution would be maybe some dielectric grease

It's definitely worth the money. The cord is flexible but solid. Works great. It already paid for itself in one little job. I have a 230 amp MIG Linde welder and I was able to weld 1/4" to 1/4" no problem and I would purchase this cord again. Maybe even the 100ft cord next time. Everywhere I looked people wanted over $200 for a 50 foot cord. I got a 40 foot cord for I believe was $127 and delivered right to me. Thank you 😁

Love the price and the quality of the cord. Used it for my 220V Plasma cutter and 250 amp MIG welder, noticed no voltage drop. My cutter performed flawlessly on the 3/16 material I was sheering/welding. No over temp warnings like with my 10/3 cable. The cable was exposed to the sun in 110 degree ambient temperatures, so the ground was much hotter. The cable held it's shape and carried current without issues. The plugs work great, connecting and unplugging went without a hitch or struggle. The female plug end lights but not the male? To me all that matters is it's ability to carry current without loss over the 40ft length. Thumbs Up!

Pretty stout little cable, bought this instead of a more expensive brand name purely because of budget constraints and I must say it easily preforms just as well as the brand name ones IMO, haven’t spit the insulation but defiantly feels like true 8g wiring, I run my Hobart 190 with this cord and have no issues pulling full 40amps for longer periods of time and the cord is still cool to the touch! The light on the plug is a nice touch as well

Lo compre para un soldador inverter de mi taller en casa, salió muy bueno, es de muy buen calibre, hasta ahorita he soldado varias veces y ni siquiera se calienta, también lo voy a aprovechar para mi cortador de plasma que sirve igual y le da mucha flexibilidad a mis equipos, se ilumina cuando lo conecto, muy bueno, lo recomendaria ampliamente
