Does exactly what its supposed to do. Seems to be well made. I was able to stretch what I needed along my LVP and didn't have to call a carpet guy in so money saved. I think it shows "frequently returned" because people are dishonest and do a repair and then get their money back.

This thing has 8 screws that I know about. All 8 of them unscrewed themselves after using the device as intended. The crease in the carpet is still there but there was noticeable improvement. The cushioned pad left no bruise on my leg for all my enthusiastic kneeing.

Purchased this used, like new condition, because I didn't need it brand new. It did arrive like new and product was still wrapped in packaging and no issues anywhere upon inspection. Just some damage to shipping box.I purchased due to I had to pull up a bunch of carpet from the wall to clean up some ants that found their way in our home through our bedroom.I needed this to help stretch the carpet enough to attach on the nail strips again.This item also helped me with another task. I previously had to repair carpet at the entry of our bedroom that was damaged by our dogs and after I repaired it, it was still loose because I couldn't stretch it enough myself to attach to the nail strips and have the excess tucked under the floor divider piece properly.This helped me fix the carpet by the bedroom entry and bathroom entry, as that area came loose too.Works great!

the tool was exactly as described and easy to understand. The padding for the knee could be better built, you may want to remove vinyl pad and add some good rubber underneath pad, it will hurt your knee if you have much to do, or are inexperienced in the process. All in all it is a good tool. I bought mine on warehouse deals and it was well worth the price. Saved me over 300 dollars and the frustration of getting a professional to come out for a quick tightening up of carpet in two rooms.

I bought it for installing turf, so it was only used for about a week but worked great. I wasn't expecting it to last based on the reviews, but it held up well doing the turf (which gave it a torture test - and no problems). I don't know about daily usage, but for me this was a good deal!

stretcher did not stretch carpet back in place . it should of went easily as it was stretched before. not very impressed with this purchase

This is a heavy duty knee-kicker carpet stretcher. Great for artificial grass installations too. It's the best bang for the buck that I've seen anywhere.
