It actually works surprisingly enough! I purchased this to still pass visual inspection but it does indeed seem to work. I repaired the fuel system problem on my truck that took out the original catalytic converter then installed this one. Installed on a 1989 Dodge w150 with a 5.2 liter engine.

My cat. was stolen. I tried the straight pipe instead of a cat.I had 50% loss in power. Ran terrible! Cut section out of my new straight pipe. Purchased this cat. and two exhaust clamps.Installed and it ran better than before cat. was stolen.Original cat. from dealer was over $1300 without labor for installation.This item saved me so much money. 5 Star product for cheap!

This thing is tiny. It works very well though. I attached it to my 1996 Ford f250 with a 7.5l engine. It passed emissions in utah. I gotta admit I did not expect it to.

I don't know how this has any good reviews!! It does absolutely nothing .. just straight pipe ur vehicle cause this is the same thing !! Truck now smokes like it's straight piped , sounds like straight piped, it has almost nothing inside... don't waste ur money !! I literally want my money back because I had to cut up the exhaust to make it fit and now for a refund they want it back meaning I'll have to go buy more piping to fill in the gap that I cut for this !! Waste of time, money, and now I'm worse off then before because I cut to fit this and it sucks a$$..
