What is Pinch Training Collar?
Mayerzon's prong collar is a safe and effective alternative to dog choker collars. A dog pinch collar is a perfect way to train your stubborn friend without ensuring any pain or injury. Unlike a small choke collar, it simply pinches the skin on the neck, simulating the effect of another canine nipping at the neck. It does not directly put pressure on the airway, so you can train the dog with little or no pulling, jerk, or pulling. It consists of small metal rings connected together. Each ring has a set of pointed rounded ends that can tighten and clamp the dog's neck when it is pulled. You can adjust the dog collar by individually adding or removing links.

2.Q: Are the prongs visible when the nylon cover is on?
A: No. It covers the prongs nicely and makes your dog keep high visibility at night for safety.
3.Q: How can I get the right dog collar size? Where should I measure?
A: The correct size for the pinch collar is right behind the ears and high up on the neck just behind the skull. Add 2 inches after the measure is a perfect size.

The collar that I received doesn't have a quick release buckle and the instructions are in broken English. In order to take the collar on and off you will have to pinch a prong inside the collar and pull back the rainbow cover, totally ridiculous. This collar won't work with the rainbow piece of cover that is velcroed into place unless you want to take things apart every time you want to use the collar. The medium collar is night and day in quality versus the large collar, it's terrible and a waist of money. The instructions include words that are not applicable to the collar instructions, it's confusing. Don't waist your money on this collar.

Was nicely made. A bit hard getting on at first. However once on it made walking my dog so much easier after a couple of pulls sge stopped and walked nicely.

The cover for the XL is larger but the collar is the same size as the L. Luckily, I bought a L and XL, so I used the extra link from the L package to make this fit my mastiff.

The dog I was taking care of broke the collar while jumping out a window (dog is fine). It would have almost been okay, but the links were taken down so I could no longer put it around her neck, it was too small. She was able to slip out of this collar very easily, by backing up and angling her head. I had mostly stopped using it before the break because of this,but then of course it broke, so no more use at all. Technically, it may be a good thing this broke with the amount of force she put into it, I would rather have the collar break than her neck break.

The first walk with my dog and this collar, it fell apart 3 times within the first 10 minutes of our walk. Needless to say I looped the leash around his neck and we came back home. He doesn’t even really pull, and I don’t need to give him hard corrections. I guess you could say it was 10 minutes of light use. Horrible quality. It is going back.

My dog has been very good like a complete change in personality while walking with collar on. My dog & I enjoy the walking better since I purchased this collar. DOWNSIDE is if you adjust it while the collar is already on the dog it may come off as it happened twice with my dog there should be a little bit of tension on the leash so it is snug. I also removed some of the chains to fit on my dog otherwise I highly recommend this product

Beautiful. Works great. Only problem is my 100lb Rottie puppies head was too big to get it off easily. I've already bought a second one to canibalize for extra links. Looks super pretty next to her black fur. XL fit around the neck but she's just got that giant block of a head.

This has to be the cutest and most unique spike collar! I’ve gotten SOOO many compliments and questions on where I got bought it from! It is sturdy, and fit greats on my 60 lb pit bull puppy.

The collar itself looks horribly brutal, however my dog seems to tolerate it well. He is a 95 pound mix and is very difficult to control in some situations. Although a very loving and gentle dog he tends to break away when he sees another dog, squirrel, rabbit, deer, or bird. The need to control him is important so I opted for this collar. With the rubber tips it seems less hurtful and there haven’t been instances where he is challenged to show his hound instinct but when I pull the collar to control him he does seem to react to the prongs. I’m hoping with training and the collar he will become more inclined not to respond inappropriately

It wasn't sturdy enough. My dog is a 5 month old 40 lb mutt and he stretched it out within 3 days trying to get it off. Only had it on for walks. Waste of my money.

Was happy at first, it was working definitely. We have a rescue that’s always been anxious on leash and so I thought this might work after reading a good review, and it worked up until it kept breaking... after using it only twice, the prongs kept slipping out, we never tugged hard or anything and they slipped off multiple times.. I had a dog running loose twice because the prong slipping and the collar completely fell off my dog... not impressed. I guess you get what you pay for. Beware, it’s better to also have a harness on your dog while trying this collar just in case the same thing happens to you, not sure if the one I got was just a one off faulty collar.
