bought this last year, thinking i'd have replacements when the bolts eventually broke. Ha! They don't fit my Bemis toilet, though it's made by Bemis.

The manufacturer should include instructions as this product works perfectly but is tricky to get right. I’ve included instructions from the manufacturer website which shows the proper way to insert the bolts correctly. Hope this helps!

My cousin recommended these to me. Definitely keeps the toilet seat from getting loose and sliding around. I recommended them to a friend.

They work, they really, really work. Now when I ever so gently place my cheeks on the seat the whole thing doesn't slide around. Wish I knew things like this existed years ago - makes me wonder what else I'm missing out on.Replaced two seats and used these kits (these kits are for specific statite seats that can use them -worth it). Took about 10 minutes total to completely change my life (and both seats). And I'll never look back.Added bonus, you can also remove the seat quickly and easily to clean the bowl - which is true for a lot of toilet seats now. It's just when this goes back on its completely sturdy. First world problems, I know it, but I'm jazzed that every time I sit down now my toilet seat doesn't slide side to side until I finally come to a stop sitting crooked on the bowl - I know it doesn't have to be like this ever again, there's a better way. These Mayfair people are true innovators.

I bought these because they were advertised as a good way to prevent wobbling. These look sturdy, but the part that goes on the top of the toilet through the seat opening was so large that it would not fit in the opening properly. I have no idea what toilet seat it would work with. I ended up buying the same "screws" like the originals at Home Depot and buying a fix-it "washer", and now my seat is solid. I am not saying these don't work, they just didn't work for me, and I am saying be careful to make sure they will work for you.

these worked great to keep the lid tight, but the washers on the tops of the screws are HUGE. My toilet lid won't go up all the way because they won't fit in the area around the holes. I'm going to try shaving them down to fit with a dremel tool. We'll see how it goes.

Wasn't the right one for the seat we had

What can I say, this is what it is and it was a god send. I bought a Bemis toilet seat that should have come with these, but they were not in the box, but I could not return the seat as it was reduced for clearance, so I found myself stuck with a toilet seat, but no way to fit it, meaning I had to desperately hunt down the attachment fitting for the porcelain to attach the seat to. These attachments were perfect for the job, seat is now in place and working perfecty. They are extremely sturdy and very easy to fit and are perfect for quick releasing the seat for cleaning purposes.

Very good unit, but instructions lacking. First of all, make sure that the plastic top of the bolt assembly fits your locking toilet seat fasteners. Note, this bolt assembly will only fit locking toilet seats, not standard non-locking toilet seats. Locking toilet seat fasteners allow for quick seat removal for cleaning which I find handy. Assemble the bolt and long, plastic nut as illustrated. Finger tighten the nut snugly, but not so tightly that it cannot move a little. Position the seat locks over the round, locking top of the bolt assembly and lock the seat in place. Then finish tightening the nuts until the bottom of the nut snaps off, assuring the nut is torqued properly. You are done! I have not used this bolt assembly long, but it appears to be durable and easy to install. If I run into any problems with use, I will post an update. If no update, everything is fine.
