This has been on my ‘want’ list ever since seeing it. It’s a two stage, so when one side is ‘cooking’ the other side can be added to. The side gear turning system has been designed to easily turn, even when filled.. and lock in place so it stops where you want it. I adore the little cart that parks perfectly underneath to catch the completed batch of soil.. destination? My raised beds! No longer will kitchen scraps go into the landfill. They will donate their valuable nutrients and fibers to new soil.. a vegetables circle of life. A little kitchen pail was included, (with compostable bags) to fill when cooking.. the top locks down tight, hopefully to avoid off odors. Took a couple hours to assemble, using exact instructions… Be sure your doorway is ample enough to carry it out. Feeling closer to nature, in my small backyard.

Love the compost tumbler, it is sturdy, rotates well without rocking. Great space inside on both sides for a great amount of food products. Can even get both hands inside to stir or grab in some dirt.I do however regret getting the package with the little compost trash bin and bags. The compost bin is made out of a cheap thin plastic and the lid isn’t sturdy on. The lid does rotate to “lock” the lid but it isn’t space functional. It takes up more space on the counter because the handle needs to be rotated every time I need to get inside the bin. And the compost bags are almost impossible to open up. Save yourself a bit of money and get just the tumbler with the cart!! (The cart is perfect under the tumbler!)

The instructions let you know in the first line that this product will take 2-4 hours to assemble. This is not wrong! I am pleased with the final product, but make sure you have the time to put it together b/c it is a bit tedious.

Although NOT EASY to assemble…glad I had a 2nd person for the 3 hour job! As for the composter itself, LOVE IT!!! The quality is exceptional, it’s attractive so to speak, easy to turn, came with a sturdy composter cart and great kitchen compost bucket and 60 biodegradable bags for it!. Complete package, happy customer!UPDATE….After one full season looks great and works to a degree…don’t believe it’s large enough to build enough heat to be active. Located in full sun…I put the right browns & greens in, rotate several x week…finally bought some compost starter and will watch for better results

This is well designed and I think will work out nicely, lots of good features that we were looking for in a large enclosed compost tumbler. The assembly was challenging; the graphics in the written instructions are not so easy to decipher, but *after* (of course!) enduring some frustration and confusion- but finally getting it done -we realized that there was an assembly video on the website which clarified a lot of it. Still a little tough to reach and line up the screws, etc but it sure would have helped! Contacted customer service for a missing part and they responded quickly. Will update with how that goes. Watch the video before assembling, and maybe keep it on your iPad to refer to in the process!ETA: Still missing a door, also the frame wasn't correctly drilled to attach the locking ratchet, so we are unable to lock it in the upright position in order to freely spin the barrel. We contacted manufacturer the same day that we assembled it and got an automated response. That was encouraging, but we haven't heard another peep out of them. I'll try again but this is disappointing.ETA: Turns out that there is an "order missing parts" link on the manufacturer's website. I went directly there to their website - before I had contacted them through Amazon's "contact the seller". On their website - customerservice@rsiww.com - there is an option to request a replacement of a faulty part or to order a missing part. When I contacted them this way, they did respond quickly and sent out the missing door within a few days.

I had ordered a dual chamber composter from a different brand/manufacturer and the divider just didn’t fit very snug and there were major gaps inside and it felt lightweight and very cheap. As soon as I opened this tumbler I could definitely tell the difference. It was heavy duty, it was huge and the divider fit it perfectly with out any gaps!! Installation wasn’t bad at all. The other product was much worse with the amount of screws so this was nothing compared to that one. I did have to return the first one I ordered from a different vender because it was missing the right screws but found this one with the cart and the compost bin so for me this was a much better deal and I had everything I needed to start my composting. I can’t wait to use it as I’ve been wanting a composter for over a year but just couldn’t find one that was big enough until I stumbled upon this beast. I honestly don’t think you’ll find a better compost product than this one. The only thing that I wish this composter had that some of the others do have is a thermometer that shows you what the cooking temperature is. I highly recommend this product hands down!!

VERY STRONG, LARGE AND A DEFINITE TO GET ONCE BACK HOME IN AUS. THE WAGON TRAY IS A GOOD SIZE AND STURDY TOO. THE BUCKET GREAT FOR THE SCRAPS AND FOR THE GRANDSON TO CARRY TO THE COMPOST BIN. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY.
