I recently bought these as a gift for my niece who is recoverying from surgery. Thought it might add to the safety at night factor. I use them in my home and really like that I can switch them from motion sensitive to always on with the flick of a switch. I have one in the bathroom at night so I don't have to turn the big way-too-bright light on when I go in there -- and I have another in the kitchen if I need a glass of water. I also like that I can choose the brightness from 3 levels with the button on the front -- set it and forget it. When they are on motion sensitive, they are pretty sensitive to motion, within about 15 feet, and stay on for about 30 seconds -- if there is continued motion they will remain on, until about 30 seconds after the last motion. And since they plug in, I never have to change a battery. All around: pretty useful.

They provide that dimmed light only when needed. The sensor is great, my cat gets that light going to eat in the middle of the night. I get that light when I go downstairs and no longer need to search for the switch or risk falling somewhere.

these lights can be set for dim, bright and brighter but aren’t too bright. Used in bathrooms and hallways they don’t stay on for long time but just enough. Just plug them in and push the bottom to the level of light you want from them. Easy and durable. Size is good not bulky.

They all worked and were inexpensive.The setting for off/on are somewhat adjustable.The bright is pretty bright. I wanted them for getting up at night since I want it as dark as possible unless I get up for something The motion detector works well. This is something I would probably purchase again when these wear out.

I recommend it. This motion sensor night light works great. I've been using it for about 9 months and it still shines bright. It works well; senses motion fine and light turns on. It has 3 settings: motion on, off, and constant on. It's very convenient. I have one by the bed and it comes on when I get up in the night and one in the bathroom that has no windows. I don't have to turn on any lights during the night.
