This is for a 3/4 ton diesel truck, not universal for cars and trucks like the description says, when you return it they make you pay return shipping. It’s not right they should state what it’s really for and not say universal

Bought this to replace an MBRP race series straight through muffler because I wanted something quieter and this muffler is supposed to be the "quiet tone" but it's even louder than the race series.

I paired this with a "Performance 4" Resonator 12" Body 18" Long" and it was perfect on my 6.7 Cummins. There's still plenty of thunder under throttle but its nearly silent while cruusing so I can hear my kids. No loss in mileage. If anything, I may have gained an mlg or two. DIRECTION OF INSTALLATION: this can be mounted either way and the insides will be pointed the same directions. It'll make sense when you look inside.

Bought an old f250 with the 7.3 powerstroke with a straight pipe. Sounded terrible and was a bit louder than I would prefer. This is a happy medium between straight and stock. Great quality. No noticeable power loss going from the straight pipe to the muffler.

Quieted down my mbrp 4-in exhaust the perfect amount. However, this isn't a true 4-in exhaust. It's reduced 3 in internally.Still very happy on my F-150 3.5 exhaust. Sounds great

The picture shows this muffler as high polished stainless steel, it’s not. I’m not sureIt’s stainless steel. Looks like regular steelAnd a magnet sticks to it?? Not sure it matters but it does look like good quality

The muffler seem to be well made, dislikes no directions on which way to install the muffler, the package said three and a half Inlet 4 in Outlet but it was 4 inch by 4 in which is what I ordered thankfully. As far as quietness it is quieter but not as quite as I was expecting for quiet Muffler, can still hear your turbo idling it is quieter than it was some drone in cab at highway speeds. If you want a muffler to be quiet I suggest not buying this one.

The construction quality is good and it is a lower grade of stainless steel that resists rusting but it will rust eventually. The sound did not change noticeably at idle but the reduction is more pronounced at higher speeds where it reduces the drone and noise. If you've changed your turbo and it has a bigger exhaust housing the noise will not be as reduced as with a stock turbo.

I recently installed this on my 02 F250 7.3 and it made a significant difference to my 4 inch straight pipe. It is a nice flow through design so when you step on it aggressively you can still hear it but when cruising at highway speeds no more drone. Much quieter idle. Heck I can even order in the drive thru without turning off my truck now. Very easy to install. Highly recommend if straight pipes aren't for you but still want minimal restriction.

Did exactly what I was looking to do. I ordered a 4 inch turbo back straight pipe exuast system for my 2003 6.0 powerstroke f250 and it was a little too obnoxious at wot for me. So after a few days of passing off the neighbors and reading some reviews I ordered this muffler it queited her down from 78 db at wot to 74 and sounds awesome still. Love the new tuned exuast notes instead of the annoying drone I had from the straight pipe should make the summer road trips more pleasurable.

This muffler did way more than I thought it would. It is a baffled flow through design. I have been running a straight piped 4" exhaust on my 24v 5.9 Cummins Diesel. My exhaust is short and exits in front of the rear wheel under the passenger door. It used to be unbearably loud, even at idle. With this new muffler it is now very quiet at idle and the rest of the range is deep and muffled. You can still tell it sounds like an aftermarket exhaust and it does still get loud if I get on it, but it doesn't have those harsh raspy tones anymore and it is way more muffled. Massive improvement for just slipping a muffler into the place of my blank test pipe.
